Scholes and Park were Brilliant in that second half, without the ginger king we would've fell apart,he dragged us back into it,real shame about vidic though.

Manchester United could be without central defender Nemanja Vidic for the rest of the season after he broke his collarbone against Blackburn Rovers. Vidic, 25, was injured when he landed awkwardly on his shoulder during Saturday's match at Old Trafford. He was stretchered off after lengthy treatment which held up the match. United are already without fellow defender Mikael Silvestre after he dislocated a shoulder in a Champions League match against Lille. That's the news.

Real shame about Vidic, I think our injuries are going hamper our chances in other competitions but we're showing a real determination in the premiership and we're playing some beautiful football while we're at it. I feared the worst at half time when we went in 1 down and looked like we were squandering chances, not to mention playing that formation, but we came out second half and destroyed them, it was a joy to watch and will have sent out a big message to Chelsea.
I just hope these injuries stop cropping up because we're getting a bit thin at the moment.

Well, that summed up a great day for me. As I was boarding the plane from Heathrow up to Manchester I saw some notes folded together. £80!! Wow!! Then a great game to watch at Old Trafford. Best atmosphere there all season.

Fergie was purring about the atmosphere too, sounded superb just over the crappy stream I had so I can only imagine what it was like at OT.

so sad about vidic, he has been brilliant for us this season, and the this point of the season when it matters the most he gets injured so sad, now when ole is back and saha hopefully in 1-2games, our attack looks stronger now, before the talk about our attack was going on that we dont have enough attacking power, but we have, and now its the back four who is in trouble, but heinze is back in form and so does brown look, and i hope it wouldnt be much of a problem. but neville on the right seems to be a big big loss...
about the game now, BRILLIANT! we played like we only hade a few minutes left of the game, and the scorers deserved for what they did, park once again brilliant, scholes cant find words for how good he is, and carrick is getting better and better, and rooney deserved to score hahah...rio has great accuracy on his shot, right in the head of an innocent person(good to see rio apologizing afterwards.) and ole ole ole! and dont forget ronaldo once again.... MOURINHO ARE U LISTENING?....WHAT AN AWESOME CROWD AT OT!! just like in 99 when united played at home fans helped alot, and i can see united win all the matches at home, thank u united, thanks united fans, LOVE UNITED!

Great result, but it was always on the cards. We screwed up for their goal, and they didnt threaten our goal much at all. When we came out in the 2nd half, you just KNEW we were going rip them to shreds. We looked so up for it.
Scholes' goal was cracking, really calm and composed, just what we needed. Park was great again today. He steals the ball off the opposition more than any player on our team.
Injuries are mounting, Vidic is out for the season now, didnt really see what happened to him though.
Oh, and the ref was DREADFUL today. I've never seen anything like it. Blackburn players just had to fall over to get a free kick. His decissions to play advantage to United when no advantage was gained.
Still, brilliant. We look amazing at the moment.
The atmosphere was brilliant today. In the 2nd half we didnt stop singing.

There's a lot of confusion over Vidic's injury. Some reports saying it's a dislocation of his shoulder- 4 weeks, others that it's a broken collar bone- ruling him out for the season.

There's a lot of confusion over Vidic's injury. Some reports saying it's a dislocation of his shoulder- 4 weeks, others that it's a broken collar bone- ruling him out for the season. From Sky: Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Nemanja Vidic will be sidelined for several weeks with a dislocated shoulder. The Manchester United defender suffered the injury as he fell in the Blackburn area during Saturday's 4-1 victory at Old Trafford. He immediately signalled he was in trouble and had to be stretchered off to be replaced by John O'Shea. And Ferguson told Sky Sports: "It could be four weeks. "Hopefully it's only four weeks, but we'll get a proper prognosis tomorrow (Sunday)." Gary Neville and Mikael Silvestre are also missing through injury but Ferguson has confidence in fringe players like Wes Brown, who played the full 90 minutes against Blackburn. "It's difficult, but I said a few weeks ago the most important players here were the substitutes, and they've now got to prove themselves," he said. "Wes Brown's settled in with Rio at the back and they've played many times together. Wes has got great experience so we're very lucky. "There's been blows to Gary, Mikael and now Nemanja, but the players have shown their resolve. "All we'll have to do is maybe bring young (Craig) Cathcart, the captain of our youth team, into the equation because he's an excellent young defender." Does anyone know what the story with Evra is? We need every available defender right now. It seems like he's been out for a bit now.
