Man Utd Blackburn Shots (on Goal) 30(17) 7(3) that sums up the second half for me.

We won, that's all that matters to me. First half was horrible, second brilliant. Rooney was frustrating, the injury to Vidic is devestating. We were always going to have to fight hard to get our trophy back, we just have to keep taking it one match at the time and get the three points.

SAF in my view won the match for us today we were crap in the first half and a total different team in the 2nd ,they needed a bollocking and got one obviously.Rooney needs to sought himself out and get on par with Ronnie and Schlolesy..

Rooney cant just turn it on,he was starting to get some form before the internationals, but during the week he's been heavily critised and that will always affect your confidence,im sure he'll be back to his best soon,he still worked very hard today.

first of all, extremly happy we won and the bonus was the second half performance. Slightly worried about vidic's injury but I don't see why heinze or wes can't fill in there. Rooney never stopped running and i feel yous should get off the lads back and get behind him, england treat him like shit lets not do the same please. Scholesy again produced a masterclass in the middle of the park and speaking of park, he was brillant today. On a funny note I hop Rio appolgised to that women, he near pole axed her. 5 wins and we are virtually guaranteed our trophy back.

I just saw the highlights for the first time and Rooney is having massive "finishing" issues. It looked like a complete replica of the B'burn game at Ewood earlier in the season. Rooney had BIG chances but didnt capitalize. What is wrong? Was he "burnt out" from teh internationals?

Shocking first half?
Were you people watching the same game. We dominated the 1st half, not as authoratitvely as the 2nd but still, and we created alot of chances too, unfortunately Rooney was probably looking forward to a nice meal and shag for his Missus' party this evening. But he got in the right positions and created a sense of panic in the Blackburn defence.
Second half: Second best performance of the season by us. And C.Ron, awesome again.

I don't think we were that bad first half, Friedal was the only reason we didn't enter half time winning 2-1. 2nd half was awesome were showed true character and style. Don't dwell on Rooney either, he just got a bit unlucky. We don't rely on wayne for goals, but we rely on his contribution, which was still there. We put in 4 goals without any of our top 3 goalscorers scoring, it says a lot.

Thought Rooney played alright today. Friedel did his superman act against him again. His touch and passing and stuff seemed a lot better than in many other games he's played this season.

First half we dominated them and wouldve been winning easily if it weren't for Friedal being a selfish git and stopping Wayne from scoring.

If Rooney got one of those tap-ins or something else, it would be nothing but praise for him, he always works hard for the team as far as i'm concerned, not his best performance, far from his worst. Ronaldo seems to love playing for United more every game at the moment, almost more than any of the others, great to see

The first half wasn't as bad as people are saying especially considering we just returned from international duty. The Vidic injury sent a shockwave through the team but after we conceded the goal there was never any doubt in my mind that we'd end up victorious.
