Meant to say, when Rio went off the commentator down here said that we were so much in the ascendancy that SAF had decided not to bother with replacing him. Err, hadn't Ole, Richardson and Evra already been introduced by that stage? Doh!  |

Doh! yeah i was listening to that commentator as well..were you watching SBS cos thats what i was tuned into...he said a lot of rubbish things last night that guy...and you're right...our 3 subs had already been used but fergie ordered rio off cos he picked up a bit of a knock. still in a daze after the match. i feel so lucky to have witnessed a spectacle like that. seriously its un-fucking-believable. and to be fair to our defenders, the only reason their ratings arent higher on the Sky website is cos they dint have much to do...our midfielders were running the entire show. looks like richardson's the only player we have left to criticize...carrick, fletch and oshea have all stepped up but that little muppet cant do anything good even when we're 7-1 up. he's not fit to clean ronaldo's boots. |

Now where do i start from? Where i live the match finished at 1:00 am and i diddn't get any fcking sleep at all. But i didn't care because it was so bloody worth it. Buzzing all night and woke my parents up by shouting the score out in their ears.Not that they really care. LOL.
In my opinion CARRICK was the man tonight. He was immense and he controlled the game. Carrick would be the perfect guy to replace Scholes. Just love the guy after seeing his second goal going in. Fletcher impressed me because he was up to the task from the start.Anyone who questions our strength in dept is a fool. No Vidic, Saha, Neville, scholes and Evra. The squad has really matured and i'm so fcking happy. What made me really happy was the fact that Ronaldo and Rooney started to enjoy themselves when the game was ours. It put a smile on my face.
7-1 Impeccable, unbelievable and WOW lol. Noticed that Rooney was quite effective on the left yesterday beause he was given the chance to drift in.
All in all a great night marked by wonderful football which will be written in Champions league history.

dont think ill ever get over that result! im still fuckin stunned by it now! i wasnt that bothered about evra being at right back although i thought wes orange cud av been pushed out there. anyway if evra wasnt at right bck then it doesnt finish 7-1 does it?

in my timezone the match was during the wee hours. need less to say, i was thinking that i have been witnessing a dream of a fairytale and that i didnt bother to sleep again as i felt i was sleeping throughout the 90 mins...
needless to say, it was a MAGNIFICENT,SCANTILLATING, AUDACIOUS performance from United and i didnt expect united to score 7 against a mighty italian defence...
gosh, i cant wait to watch the repeat match again and again... now watching the highlights for the sixth time in a day.....
