I think the boys will pull this one off. They've been rather poor lately and think that they will want to perform like that in front of a home crowd.
My guess is 3-1, but if we play like we know we can, 3-0.

Wow you lads are all confident.
Scholes is a big loss, but hopefully we can try to skip the playmaking phase on wed morn and just go straight down the flanks. Quickly get the ball out to our wingers and basically just play a crossing game w/ a lot of width and people getting into the box. I thought that near post dummy runners worked well to pull defenders out of the middle in Rome, so one of the CMs could offer that, or rooney and the crosses can go centrally behind the defender that was pulled out to the near post. Overall they concede most goals off crosses than centrally, but they do have the best defensive record in Italy.
Feck this is gonna be hard.
Keep the faith and never fear.
But the issue is that i can't see Fergie playin Giggs as an out and out winger, either up front or in Cm i expect. In that case i would play Ole w/ his crossing skills on the right and Ronaldo w/ his awesomness on the left.

Depends so much on Utds line up have to start with Evra at left back and Saha up front if fully fit,Richardson should be deported to Belgium for the forthcoming future.Have to attack and i hope for a 2-0...Expect a blinder from Rooney.

We are going to miss Scholesy. But I still do think we can get a result , we're playing at Old Trafford , the lads are going to be up for this 200% . I think an early goal could do it , but a tough match all in all. We need to re-adjust to winning ways , I hope that was our major blimp ( the 2 losses ) , and that tomorrow night , we overcome it. UNITED !

I'm not a violent red, I'm really not but after Roma away and Pompey played up our title hopes, and some of the displays in that game, I will shoot Kieran Richardson where he stands if he EVER plays for Manchester United again. Okay, so he may well play for us again but he does not deserve to. I hear Mars has a good 11 a side team, maybe we could send him there. Waste of space. He and Roma have made me so angry I'm very up for this game and I'm going to drag all my fellow wheeled warriors slurring and dribbling into this century and get them to sing their hearts out... This is one game where we really need to stand up and be counted along with the players on the pitch. 12th man and all that rubbish, it'll be hard and I don't think we can stop them scoring. If we do I think maybe it'll be one of them where we stop them and stop them and stop them and all of a sudden they score and it's too late for us to reply. If we get ahead we need to keep going. It's a big IF.
Let's av 'em!

i hope VDS returns to form, we need him. Roma are dangerous, but with Saha back, 2-0!

The key for us in this match will be to look confident on the ball and not allow Roma to stuff the midfield like they did against us last week. We need to keep the ball moving and keep them on the defensive like we're capable of doing. I see this as a match we get a 1-0 win.

The early goal is the key. It will snuff out any negative tactics Roma try to use, so hopefully we'll get a vintage attacking display from our forward players.

I'm really looking forward to this one! I'm fired up. For this game i would have liked Saha to start from the beginning but it doesn't look like he is fully fit. Same with Evra but we don't know if he is going to start either. We are playing at home and so we shoud play to our strenghts. I'm optimistic about this match because we have 11 men for this match. We played some great football with ten men last week and i honestly think that if that extra man plays the defensive midfield role ( O'shea) then we can concentrate on getting a goal. Scholes is out and so if i was in SAF's place i would give the midfield maestro role to Carrick. Tomorrow everyone will see what he is exactly capable of and i really do back him to replace Scholes. He will have to control the game and i think last week he was awesome considering he played the CM role all alone. Rooney and Ronaldo unfortunatly looked very tired against Pompey and i hope they have enough time to regain their precious energy which will be vital in the closing stages of the match. However we can expect Roma to pack their box with 11 players as they only need a draw to go through. Giggs has to play on the wings and cut in to cause chaos in the roma midfield. If Evra plays giggs and Ronaldo will benefit alot from this as they will know they are no alone going up the field. I expect United to go through but what i fear is the fatigue of our players. We are favorites to go through but if we had our starting 11 all fit we would have had the chance to bit them to shreds tomorrow. If we don't qualify sor the semi's i won't be sad because i want the premiership title back.
