Repeating what a few of you have already said, but it depends on the line up and whether saha is included or not. i think if we have last weeks team plus saha(for scholes) then im confident that we can go thourgh. But as i just found out, united website claims saha wont be ready, although i feel he could be on the bench, i have many conspiracy theories. saying that if saha isnt fit and were forced to play richardson (!) then i hate to say it but i think well be out of the competition to early for yet another year and i can see roma scoring so im afraid we could be out come tomorrow night

Hate to say it but we are lacking in depth in the squad,it was always the fear that if we had injuries we were fucked also with Scholsey out this is going too be tough.Richardson and Fletcher are not going to win us fuck.I think too much is resting on a few when we should have a strong starting 11 evan with injuries.Ronnie has been carrying the team for a while now so i expect Rooney to step up.Without Vidic and Nev its a big loss so Wes and Heinze if picked need to be alot fucking better of late,SAF needs to be on top form just pick the right team.Roma are pants and Totti is a wanker so nothing to fear,we will win this.......

I really do hope that when Rome come to Old Trafford we show them a hostile atmosphere. I mean booing constantly, non stop singing. Just loud, loud, loud. Anti-Rome songs if we got them or anything that would make it an intimidating atmosphere. As like I said in another post in 'Time To Protect Ourselves' hooliganism is not good at all, however Britain has done such a good job at policing hooliganism we have forgot how to make a intimidaitng and hostile atomosphere apart from when facing Liverpool lol. I hope you understand n try to make something happen.
yeh i dnt think you need to worry about the atmosphere come tuesday! the red army will be in full voice and we'l cheer the boys on to the semi finals. the european games atmosphere is much better than league games also, that could be because the fans expect united to win every home prem game. But the champions league is where the fans play a huge part! and act like a real 12th man!!

If you want to create a hostile enviroment you have to remember that these players have played in rome derbies so I don't expect what we say to make much difference to them. If you wanna get under there skin sing some anti totti chants or something. I'm sure the lazio fans have some

First of all I have a good feeling about the game, but with Scholes missing to ruffle up the center of the pitch and link the rest of the team with the front two I think we might not be able to get too many goals, but I believe it will be a strong performance from the lads.
Second of all I think we're being a little tough on Richardson. I have to admit he has been consistently poor for United this season, but he's hardly been allowed to play. If you look at last season I had hopes for the boy, he had a few goals for England and was putting in a few strong performances for us. I remember he had a piller drive from thirty yards out that smashed against the crossbar, and I was just thinking he would be important for us next season. But the game against Pompey was his 10th (5 starts and 5 sub) league appearence (which makes him eligible for a league medal) so I mean i don't think "Lord Snooty" has had a consistent enough run in for the first team to be judged yet, but maybe he hasn't deserved it. So in all probability he'll be shipped off, but i don't know if we can shoulder the blame on him even though he has shown zero heart, grit, and even work ethic.

So in all probability he'll be shipped off, but i don't know if we can shoulder the blame on him even though he has shown zero heart, grit, and even work ethic. but think of the loan spell he had and then think of some of the other youngsters. yes he barely has played but others like pique, bardsley, rossi have all made an impact when given a run around by fergie. richardson says he wants that spot that he will fight for it and when we do give him that spotlight he needs. he flops and flops bad. its the worst when he gives up on runs and balls i cannot bare that. he is 22 now and he could take a thing from some of the other young lads about how you MUST perform when giving the chance.or at least look like you give a fuck ... go united! less than 12 hrs! |

I missed last weeks match as I was on the road. I had to listen to it on a really poor reception of 5 live. I have not managed to see any of the highlights.
Very nervouse about tonights game..................
