I liked how for about 4 minutes Heinze and Tomasz passed the ball to each other and not one Sheffield player bothered to get close for quite a while.
But yes, any win right now is a great win. Good to see. We're soon out of games.
5 games to go. =)

against milan is our last home game before we meet the hammers at home for the last match(as busby boy said)...and until that its vital for us to get these home advantage victories, after that we have a few hard away games including milan and everton away...and of course against citeh (the massive club) before we meet the blue scums at the bridge...
5 premiership games left: boro (h), everton (a), citeh (a), chutski (a), hammers (h). 2 cl games: milan (h), milan (a) 1 fa cup:final: chutski (n=duh) 19 may 6 days after the hamers game 1 cl final?
thats 8-9 though games over 1 month...COME ON REDS!

And that's why Gabby isn't played at CB ;D nah he did alright but those lunges can be costly if mistimed in the box. job done, 3 points in the bag.

After recent big wins, I was expecting us to get another big win tonight.
Great goal from Carrick. Scholesque. And if there are some who were unsure whether or not Rooney was finally back, his goal settles that debate.
So, I was expecting 4, 5, 6 goals. It finished 2-0. The most important thing is that we got the 3 points.
Glory Glory.

OMG, we are fuckin lucky that the PK wasn't given.
If it had been, Gaby would most certainly have been sent off (last man), and we'd be without him for Boro, Toffees and Shitty. Considering our defender injury crisis, that would've completely murdered us @ the back.

Ive read tha Richardson did a wonderful job in the back. Last season he really impressed me as well when he had to slot back for all those games. Seems to be a better fullback than winger

We're lucky the penalty wasn't called when Shelton was tackled...Gabby lucked out. --------------------------------------------------------------- I liked how for about 4 minutes Heinze and Tomasz passed the ball to each other and not one Sheffield player bothered to get close for quite a while. It reminded me of one of the Joga Bonito ads where Cantona was talking about getting rid of cheaters and one of the shots was of a defender kicking it back and forth with the keeper.

After the lord mayor's show...
At times I was incredibly bored but the job was done. After a while we took the piss sometimes, Heinze and Tomasz and Brown playing triangle passes. It wasn't even 'ole' football it was 'can't be arsed' football but as I say, the job was done. Richardson went missing a few times and Darren Fletcher got poked in the eye on the goal celebration. Three points is the man thing, 4 more wins and the title is ours.
Didn't like Neil Warnock's interview after the game, don't think the FA will either. He clearly has a case of big club envy because although theirs was a penalty so was ours and Sheff United hacked into our lads all night and we got booked for it.
"You can stick ya fuckin' England up your arse!"

Ricardson has copped a lot of flack(deserved) recently so its only fair that his performance last night was acknowledged. I thought he played really well. He concentrated on his defensive duties, got forward well and made his tackles too. Maybe the penny has dropped?

Let's not get carried away, but .. it was a good performance (finally!), and I'm glad for him.

I dont know what the deal with Richardson is. Two years ago he was the one youth prospect I was really excited about (apart from Rooney and Ronaldo of course) Last year he impressed me when he had to fill in for Heinze early on in the season but then towards the end of the season when he actually played on the wings he just didnt cut it for me.
He just doesnt have that drive that the rest of the players do. He does some very stupid tackles or randomly kicks the ball away... just stuff like that dont impress me. Who knows what'll happen to him next season.

Richardson has had too many chances, on good performance in transfer windows or before the summer doesn't change that, he doesn't deserve playing for United.
We got the three points, all that matters.
