If Fergie doesn't think Richardson is capable of chasing the game for us in the 2nd half, what makes him good enough to start the game? He was injured.

terrible performance, our passing was crap, the usual movement wasn't there and we seemed to lack that fighting spirit we needed, to me it seemed as though we were resigned to the fact we weren't gonna win for the whole second half and played as such, their keeper had rock all to do and we lost another CB, what a fcucking great day eh?
that game against chelsea just became a premiership decider and I'm absolutely shitting it, I gonna try and stay positive though because otherwise I'll start thinking the whole worlds conspiring against us with the amount of shit that's gone wrong recently but there's still a lot to play for and we need to show we deserve that premiership crown now by putting in some big big performances.

And so, those 11 brave souls, who have given their all since August, seem to have run out of steam. A poor, tired Manchester United looked uninspired (well, in my opinion anyway) against a Boro side which, I have to give it to them, was prepared brilliantly by Gareth Southgate to the Old Trafford style of play. United, apart from a few scrappy chances towards the end, did nothing to deserve the three points. But make no mistakes, I am not blaming any of our wonderful players who have made me prouder to be a United supporter than ever before. With such a narrow squad (today United played with only one of our starting defenders - Rio - and he came off at the half), with Smithy coming back from his injury like he did, with Solskjaer, Giggs, Neville and Scholes running as if they were 22 well into their thirties, with Roo and Ron putting that WC incident behind them as if it had never happened. At the start of this season I didn't think we'd go all the way. I thought we'd push Chelsea this season and mount a real challenge next season, but the way the lads have played this year, the future's looking bright. It's true, our chances of winning the Title are decreasing - we have to play at Chelsea where we haven't scored since August 2002, we have to play at City which is traditionally a match where we lose points - but that doesn't matter anymore. I used to not understand why someone would support a team not winning anything. But in the last three years, and especially this one, I understood why.
"WE'LL NEVER DIE, WE'LL NEVER DIE, WE'LL NEVER DIE, WE'LL NEVER DIE, WE'LL KEEP THE RED FLAG FLYIN' HIGH, COS MAN UNITED WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!!!"

I don't think this is a case of throwing in the towel and saying United have lost the title, it's a case were we've endured one bad game and have given Chelsea a sniff again, we make things hard for ourselves. Remember in the Treble winning season the points margin at the end of the season? I rest my case.
You wouldn't know our team was in the semi finals of Europe's biggest competition, final of the FA Cup and top of the league by some of these responses. They're disgraceful to be honest with you.
Yeah you say "We'll Never Die" but prior to that comment all but said we'd not win a thing.

Disappointing result. Our injuries are costing us now. I don't understand why Rio wasn't taken off as soon as he was injured. What was Fergie playing at letting him hobble around for all that time?? Evidently, we would have been better off making the substitution there and then Looked like a BLATENT penalty for them in injury time, good ol John O'Shea. Won't be watching Match of the Day, but imagine someone can confirm that for me. Looked tired and disinterested. Don't see why Fergie took Richardson off. Why take off a player after 45 minutes who's having a good game? No good battering teams in the Cups if we can't show up in the league. Puts the pressure on us now needlessly. ALL of our first choice back 4 are now injured

I dont think weve thrown in the towel either... i just think after a great season like this, for chelsea to come up and snatch the prem would be DISASTEROUS not to mention i wouldnt be able to leave my house for a decade .... Its just so frustrating that we were 12 points ahead at one point and now (worst senario) we're just a point ahead by tomorrow night... Chelsea still got bolton and arsenal to play, not to mention ourselves. Lest just hope arsenal dont keep their "good" performances us.... Siiiiigh.... another unconfortable sleepless weekend for me. I just cant sleep after a defeat. (Draws just as bad)

Yeah you say "We'll Never Die" but prior to that comment all but said we'd not win a thing. Sorry BB, but after a massive disapointment today its hard to be hugely confident. Chelsea just keep winning and the teams they play just collapse and roll over for them. We have injuries left right and centre (literally) and we are really under pressure. I just can't see a Chelsea slip. I hate myself for being this pessamistic, but at the moment I can't help it. Tomorrow ill be praying that Newcastle get something. but they are shit and Chelsea will pulverise them now, knowing that a win will take them just 1 point behind. We should not be 1 point in front, we should be light years ahead. Big opportunity could be gone. Yes, Chelsea have to go to Arsenal, but again, I cant see Arsenal doing anything. Somebody snap me out of this. Being negative against United is not something I do very often.
