Our ticketing system is shite! I've been to all FA Cup games, all Champions League games and missed just six league games yet I'm unsuccessful in the ballot for the last game of the season versus West Ham.
I guarantee they'll be a bunch of fuckers sitting in that stadium on that day that have never ever been to Old Trafford before and never ever will ever sing a song.
I don't expect to get tickets to the FA Cup Final or Champions League Final (if we get there) due to the allocations but this is a piss take!

I know what you are saying bro!...it really sucks that the real passionate fans are not given any preference over others who will never support our team the way it is supposed to be. it just sucks!!

To add to the misery, ticket prices up £2-3 next season, so add on the booking fee thingy and a seat in the East/West 2nd Tier will cost about £34.

I paid £45 last night and I'd gladly pay the same for the last game of the season..or any game with United for that matter.
I'm still going up to Manchester though to soak up the atmosphere as I will go to Wembley and possibly Athens if we make it.

yeah man i agree with you all. Fucking glory supporters with no idea. I ve only been to 3 united games this season due to being in the army in germany and going to iraq but do try when possible to go. Half the bleedin time tickets are gone but fuck it efforts must be doubled for the supporters who regularly attend intheir masses to support the our men.I dont agree with th so called supporters getting preference

We knew it was coming, ticket prices were always going to rise under these Glazer chaps...sad news indeed

Tickets increasing by 14% although youngins and oldies will get a price reduction. Also, ST holders will apparently have to join that stupid auto ticket scheme. Fucking Glazers you'd have thought they'd be happy with getting shit loads of prize money and a bumper new TV deal. It's almost enough to make you wish Old Trafford became really quiet because all the real fans stopped going. Then we wouldn't win as much and the Glazers would be forced into a rethink the cunts.

What did you expect? The glazers seemed to have defended the price increase by saying that they still sell out, regardless of the price. If thats the case, then surely it would have made sense to keep the ticket prices the same to mantain the level of support. If the Glazers want to go into our hearts, this is not the way to do it. Just because we happen to be having a good season, doesn't mean they are accepted. This is down to Fergie and the players ONLY. If they strengthened a bit more in the summer, we might not be in this injury crisis.
Remember Malcolm. 3 strokes and your out.

Ticket prices will carry on increasing until we don't sell out for a league game. I can see it now, 100,000 seater stadium, £100 a ticket, 100,000 cardboard cutouts. I hate the Premiership. LUHG.

I have to say, the ticket prices don't sound that unreasonable. Here for the NHL (ice hockey) playoffs, the tickets range between $65 - $250 for a playoff ticket. Plus these teams do not have anywhere near the amount of support as Manchester United, but the prices are still really high. So I think football tickets are actually really cheap in comparison. I do understand the point about fans who regularly go being unable to go to the big games at the end but you also have to keep in mind that those fans outside the country or what not also want to see the matches just as badly and they can't travel to England multiple times a year, so they will probably want to see the ones near the end. I am not sure if they have this there, but do they sell tickets on site, where you can line up outside all night or something, then anyone who wants it bad enough can get it.

Perhaps the average American earns more than the average working class guy from Manchester. That's the reason they get away with such exorbitant prices in London. The average salary for a Londoner is about 50% larger than that of the average Mancunian.

This isn't about the ticketing prices it's about the ticket system.

I know what you are saying Busby Boy. The distribution of tickets leaves a lot to be desired. I am a season ticket holder in the Stretford Upper tier, have been to all home cup games in every comp, and cannot get away tickets for love nor money! Having said that, I am on a good run at the moment having recently got Pompey, F.A.Cup Semi, Roma Away, Everton this weekend and City. However after applying for every domesytic away game this season surely I should have got more tickets?
