Revving up for this at the mo, like a child I am - got my Utd shirt on as well.... AS:
I am in work with a load of bin dippers... (around 15 of them, and the smell is awful... lol!)
fuck me, they are really boring the tits off me about Wednesday nights 'big final'
I keep telling them that 'Lord of the rings' is on Sky & I can watch 'ugly scummy Orcs' on that instead of in Athens on a footy pitch and that Pretty Woman' is on also...
All going 'come on Chelsea, beat the Manc shite' - I'm just playing 'spot the red shite window licking retard' and you know what every time I look up I see one - ITS AMAZING!
God I hope we win this well today as I am in again tomorrow with the same crew... and on Weds/Thurs - bought a Milan shirt last night from JJB in readiness for the bin dippers defeat- lol!
Come on Utd and while Im thinking about it Come on Milan... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE....

Well call that game what you will but I thought it was a shit hanging from a stick. Neither side really deserved to win. I'm very disappointed that Fergie didn't tell them to get more men in the box. On the plus side Rooney, Scholes and Vidic were immense. Giggs, Rio and Brown weren't bad either although Giggsy...grrrr.

i saved my 1000th post for after the cup final hoping it would be a happy one. unfortunately we couldnt do it. lets not fool ourselves, it was a crappy game from both sides. the only time we really did anything was towards the end and in extra time. and then the typical chelsea last gasp goal killed us.
i know we've all been saying that the prem was our priority and anything else was a bonus, but i am truly GUTTED that we did not get this trophy. dont get me wrong i'm ecstatic we got the prem, but i'm really disappointed at the way we went out of the CL and the FA cup...we dint try hard enough in either game. hopefully that will change next season.
that said i'm still proud of our boys this season. this one hasnt ended how we would have liked but let's hope next year will be better. CMON UNITED.

I cant say much, but I am disappointed. We could have started better and taken it straight to Chelsea. But alas, this just wasnt our day. Rooney had a great game, Scholes and Carrick and the backline did their parts well; Giggs and Ronaldo didnt play well and I am disappointed in them.
The game could have gone anywhere, but I shouldnt complain that much. I am happy about winning our trophy back and that was what we all wanted at the start didnt we ?
I'm still proud of our team, and I am still proud of them trying their absolute best.
UNITED !!!

The FA Cup and Champions League would really have been nice bonuses. The Premiership is the big prize, and it is ours. United will never die. |

Disappointed but far from being gutted. Game went pretty much as expected but we didn't take one of the chances that we had- same as in 05. Difference being that we are PREMIERSHIP CHAMPIONS this year. Chelski rent boys can celebrate all they want- they've spent shit loads of cash to win the cups playing boring negative football.
Scholes was absolute class again. He above all is going to be the player we will have trouble replacing the next few years.
