Well i'm heading up to Scotland for this one ( got the last 2 tickets so i'm told ) ;D So if Fergie decides to debut Tevez in N.Ire he's in for it when i get back. Suppose he'll either completely balance out the teams and look for different partnerships such as Hargreaves and Carrick in one friendly, Rio and Vida in the other, or he'll completely unbalance them and stick a load of youths up in Scotland. #nono#
Seeing as he IS Scottish, he used to play for Dunfermline AND it's a testimonial game, i'd hope he'll be joining me up north with a certain Mr. Tevez, whilst the likes of Heinze end up in Ireland.
Both friendlies start at 7:45pm which is a tad strange, should bring the squad in line with levels of fitness however.

Well I hope Tevez plays in the Glentoran game as I'm gunna watch it on Sky in an Irish pub in Florence. Nani, Anderson, Tevez and Hargreaves are all gunna play I think, so any of those players I'll be happy to watch.

He said after the CS that Anderson, Nani and Hargreaves will play not sure how much of the match they will though. He'll probably rest a few of the players who are playing against Reading but hopefully he'll give Tevez a run out if we can sign him by then!

Tevez will be able to play regardless if he is signed or not. He can be listed as a trialist and play because of that.

Well thats if sky have it their way. As for Heinze he can play with the reserves because he might just have to start getting used to playing with them this season.

Great fodder for speculation. Do you try out Roo, Ron, Tevez together under SAF's watchful gaze in Scotland or do you send Anderson, Nani and Tevez out to Ireland with Quieroz and Ronaldo.
Personally I'd like to see that Ron, Roo, Tevez thing but I can wait - a bit.

Looks like he's gone for a complete balance, with the English speaking lads in Scotland and the others in Ireland:
Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that he will bring a squad of sixteen players to Dunfermline for the Scott Thomson Testimonial Match on Wednesday night. Certain players will require to be assessed after the Community Shield victory over Chelsea on Sunday but definitely coming north will be Wayne Rooney, Owen Hargreaves, Darren Fletcher, Ryan Giggs, Wes Brown, Paul Scholes, Ryan Shawcross, Mikael Sylvestre, Chris Eagles and Gerard Pique.
To those ten will be added a goalkeeper and another five players.
Good to have Scholesy back, looks like Tevez is off to Ireland and on Sky unless he's simply not been mentioned.
Sir Alex will almost definately be in Scotland, so i find it strange that he wouldn't want to see Tevez in his first appearance for United..

The Belfast Telegraph have announced that Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson and a few other foreign lads along with Ferdinand and Van Der Sar will be going to Belfast with Rooney, Fletcher, Hargreaves etc going to Scotland. Fergie is qouted as saying he won't be at etheir match as he is moving house and his wife won't let him out of it!!!! Sereiously google belfast telegraph and go to the sport section if you don't believe me!

According to sky sports Ronaldo and Gabby 'prick'Heinze have not travelled and Tevez obviously can't play.

I thought trialists can't play competitive games for the 1st team? i was under the impression that as tevez at the mo is technically a free agent and this is a friendly he would be able to play as a trialist. Similar to Geovanni playing for portsmouth in a friendly and then joing city two days later. I guess i was wrong though, unless they didnt want to risk tevez picking up an injury before the deal goes through.
