United need to do what they know best and that is ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! and everything else should fall in place.

WAYNE Rooney is itching to repeat his Italian Job of last April and get off the mark for this campaign tonight.
United's hitman had suffered a 17-game Champions League barren spell up to last spring's visit to Rome that had stretched back to his hat-trick debut for the Reds against Fenerbahce.
He ended that bleak run with a goal in the Stadio Olympico and scored four times in three matches in 20 days against Serie A's giants Roma and AC Milan.
The 21-year-old's broken foot this term, however, interrupted his start and the England striker has yet to score in four matches.
"I am desperate to get off the mark," said Wayne.
"It has been a disappointing start for myself getting injured. But I am happy to be back playing and have played three games now and hopefully I can start scoring again and help the team win."
Rooney contributed a single strike in the 7-1 massacre of this evening's visitors Roma seven months ago.
He believes the Italians will be keen to wipe out that humiliating memory.
"If I was a Roma player I would be delighted as soon as I saw the draw for the groups to have an opportunity to make it right so soon the season after," he added. "I am sure they will be fired up for this game more than any other after last season. We have to be aware of that and concentrate on our own job and play the way we can."
United got off to a winning start in Group F, like Roma, with victory last month in Portugal against Sporting Lisbon.
The Reds similar start last term was the platform that took them all the way to the semis.
But the ultimate KO by eventual winners Milan has cranked up the appetite for a Moscow success in May for Rooney.
He said: "I am desperate to win the Champions League having got so close last season and we didn't play the way we can in Milan. It cost us in the away leg. Hopefully we can get to the final and win it.
"We are more experienced a year on. We have that bit more experience and the players we have brought in will add extra freshness towards the end of the season which we needed last season. It will benefit us."
One of the newcomers is Rooney's striker sidekick Carlos Tevez.
Despite reservations among some doubters that the Argentine and the England player were too similar to gel, Rooney is convinced the alliance will flourish.
"Obviously when I play with him it is a different role for myself.
"I try and play on the shoulder of the defenders a lot more and I let him be the link between the midfield and the forwards. I am happy to do that," said Wayne.

Would be nice if VDS was around for this one. I'm just relieved the first leg is being played at home. It takes some of the bite out of the tie.
Maybe Tevez can be what makes us click in Europe? Fingers crossed.

From Sky Sports:
"When we were already winning 6-0 one of their players said 'don't do any more dribbles, you're already winning by six', almost begging," Ronaldo revealed, in his new book Moments.
"Obviously I won't reveal his name, as these are comments brought about by occurrences in the game.
"Other players ask me to go to play on the opposite side, and others don't show any sense of humour when they make threats to my physical integrity.
"I know that they are merely trying to scare me.
"But these comments are worthless, for I keep playing exactly the same way."

A win is a win. No matter what the scoreline. All I want is a win and people leaving Old Trafford carrying the Red flag with smiles on their faces with them Romans hanging their heads in humiliation

Could this be the match to get us rolling with fluent football...
...who knows.
I'm hoping for an entertaining match with a Utd win. Wont predicted a score. Just want a convincing win.

All I want is for us to win so we can keep aiming for winning the group. I'm curious if we're going with a 4-4-2 or our famous 4-5-1 in European competition.

I'd love to see a big win to kick start our season but we may be without Brown and Vidic so I'm a bit worried. Hopefully, we'll play just well enough to get a 1 or 2 goal win. At home, we usually control the game, and hopefully we'll take our chances. I'd say Ronaldo will be key tonight and I reckon he'll get 2 goals

Sitting in the Stretford End Tier 2 tonight, cannot wait. ;D Told my lecturer that I had physio and couldn't make a lesson today, reality was I had to drive up to Manchester, only for him to say that he wouldn't be taking it as he's a United ST holder - so I just told him the truth in the end great stuff. Think we should start Saha and Carrick rather than the new boys Tevez and Hargreaves but either/or and we've got a strong eleven out - great options to have. My XI if Vida and Wes are fit. Kuszczak
Brown - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Ronaldo - Carrick - Scholes - Giggs
Rooney - Saha Prediction3-0 United Scholes, Rooney and Ronaldo. C'mon United! YOU CAN STICK YOUR FUCKIN' ULTRAS UP YOUR ARSE!
