More than anything i blame that loss on the fact that we don't have a captain because when the entire team don't turn up, there needs to be someone you can rely on to make them turn up and lead on the field. Giggs is not that man and today United got outplayed by a side in the relegation zone True. Poor performance today, left it too late to start pressing. Never liked Giggs being captain. If only Tevez had got a solid touch and knocked it straight down the middle. If only...

Ffs. I am sick of Fergie's moments of insanity. Rooney is injured, Tevez has stated his travel tiredness, and yet he still chooses to 'rest' Ronaldo? I cannot understand Sir Alex at times.
Edit: From what I heard on 5 Live, Giggsy was in one of his now infamous moods. Also, why are we always the team who new managers get their first wins over? West Ham last year at Christmas for example, and now today. I hate Gary Megson.

is this the proof that carrick is useless, anderson already looks better. Ok we have lost I'm sure thats naturual sometimes but the decision to leave ronaldo out when tevez played is fucking stupid, I don't know but what gives ronaldo liscense to miss out.

You just knew it wasnt going to be our day when Tevez missed that sitter. But how many of our players were completly anonymous today???
Giggs was absolutly terrible and Ive been saying all season that he doesnt deserve to be starting as many games as he does. I would love to see his passing percentage and how many times he gives the ball up. Near the end of the game he goes on a dribble and he gets the ball nicked by Anelka of all people. It wasnt a tackle it was just one of those put your foot in kind of plays and it works. And as many have said TERRIBLE captain.
Pique what the hell was he doing on that play... we needed Vidic big time today.
Saha, Carrick and even Hargreaves to an extent were useless today.

Oh ya also why wasnt Anderson given the start?? He didnt play for Brazil over the break and what has Carrick done to deserve a starting spot over Anderson? Fergie what were you thinking today

Agreed with Carrick, he wasn't exactly on top form today, and we deffinetly hit our stride when Anderson came on. Nani had some moments of brilliance, but lost the ball far too many times trying to take on too many. It seemed like Saha didn't touch the ball, and when he did he got a foot to it after a long ball played to him. Tevez should have hit the back of the net, plain and simply. And Evra, what the fuck was he thinking shooting, a ball to Saha would have been almost guaranteed a goal, but then again so should Tevez's shot.
Oh well fuck it, lets all just watch another 20 go past derby yeah?

Should have learnt by now to show teams respect. There's no easy away game in the premier league so we should not be needlessly resting players.

Yeah I agree, stick Ronaldo on the bench at least

Terrible decision to rest Ronaldo. And then Fergie gets himself sent off. Oh and Carrick, WTF was that ? Barely gave one right pass or did anything meaningful. Same goes for the whole team anyways.
Over confidence will shoot u in the foot, and today for about 60 minutes, no one was bothered. Anderson coming in was the best thing i saw today. He livened things up... but it wasn't to be.. simple as that.. now we're 3 ( realistically 6) points behind Arsenal. Fucking bullshit !

Absolutely furious at what I saw !!! Played like school boys in the first half, and then messed up in 2nd half. Teams like Bolton, their physical and fiesty approach is something we havent witnessed yet, and I am hopeful I will never see Carrick start again. He is running out of chances.
Only Nani and Hargreaves were good, Anderson tried better than Carrick, Saha was poor, Tevez was clearly fatigued and looked out of sorts. I dont understand why Ronaldo didnt play, and it has come to my conclusion that we cant always rely on Ronaldo and Rooney to score for us.
We need a striker no matter what, as that was what we really missed today.

Not going to dwell on it too much, obviously a one off but was just surprised to see Ronaldo left out of the sixteen completely, especially without Rooney in the side.
Nani and Evra were good today though, performed well although Evra could have put Saha in with about five minutes left.
Oh well, we'll bounce back and carry on. It's not the end of the world and with Fulham coming up at home next in the league we should get back on track.

Poor performance.
The only bright spark being Anderson when he came on, he dominated midfield for 15-20 mins.
And what does Giggs have to do to be dropped? Get arrested?

To quote myself from Facebook: BTW, Hargreaves should always take our freekicks when we're playing away. If he's playing, that is
