YOU'RE STAYING, ENGLAND'S STAYING HOME!
I normally want England to do well. I don't support any national team, simple because I have no passion to drive my support for them. Reasons I didn't want them through:
*I can't really want a team to win when they have players I hate in it. Stevie Me, Fat Frank, 7 Foot Pikey, Michael 'Sow him', et cetera.
*Gerrard as captain. Or even JT when he's fit. Disgusts me, as Gaz deserves it.
*We have the most English internationals, with Chelsea just behind. Neville, Rio, Brown, Carrick, Hargreaves, Rooney... Those are just players picked by McSven. Foster would've been in the squad, if not for his injury. Plus we have others that should get a chance. Basically, it's better for us next season. All rested up, less chance of injury, more prep and focus. Arsenal and Liverpool would've preferred an England qualification.
*The FA. Bastards with no love for the game. NFL game at Wembley, for example. Just a money-making thing and look at the pitch. Not an excuse for the dismal display, as both teams had to play on it, but WHY?
*The support. I don't want to be supporting England with rival gobshites.
*No United players were playing. No blame for them. It was just a bonus. If Rooney was playing, for example, I would've wanted him to get a last-minute goal to scrape England into the Euro.
My 2 pence.

Plenty of England threads in the general board mate.
