Anfield is a fortress.....
For US!
Loving the Torres got robbed joke btw.
And for anyone saying we were a two man team, where were the two players today, yet we still kept a clean sheet vs side with players like Torres and Gerrard and won at their ground!!!!

I was at the game today in the United end, and I was (pleasantly) surprised to see how shite the Liverpool fans were. "Where's your famous atmosphere?" was sung quite a bit, no reply from the scousers at all really.

I had to listen to the game on the radio today as i couldnt get an streams and just watched the "highlights" on MOTD
Points;
the highlights didn't show the golf ball being thrown at rooney so i'm assuming that the FA will not do anything about it. also, torres should of been given a yellow card for when he fell over against Rio then he turned round and squared upto him, i'm pretty sure if it was the other way round then it would of been a card.
is it just my imagination or does Torres look like he's got a slight case of downs syndrome?

We did the business today. Defensively we were sound, which surprised me somewhat. We've made plenty of defensive errors against shitty teams which I was sure we would be made to pay for against tougher opposition. The defensive errors don't get much bigger than VDS on his arse leaving a keeper-less goal mouth, but we had players in the position to deal with it. I was really impressed with that, and fully agree with Rio getting MOTM.
Hargreaves and Anderson did the job in the centre of the midfield, and Scholesy is going to have to work hard to get his place back in the team.
Ronaldo AWOL for another big game.
Over the moon. For all their possession in the second half, VDS didn't have to make a single save. Everything went straight to him or wide. So much for Torres being a threat.
Well done lads.

Ronaldo AWOL for another big game. He was below par.....but he did well to put that chance on a plate for Rooney near the end and if Waz had put that away it would have looked like a better performance from Ronaldo.....and I wouldn't have been sh*tting myself when they had that free kick in injury time.

EASEH!
Thought today was a really routine performance. Got the job done. The scousers were never a threat, the "chances" that came their way were through hit and hope balls and poor goalkeeping from VDS who looked senile today.
The defense was immense. Vidic and Rio (who deserved his motm) were rock solid. Evra was providing a real threat down the wing, which was vital because Ronaldo was shit (again).
Greaves had a good game in the middle, but the star was Anderson, he is the complete midfielder, just needs a few goals and he'll be worth his place ahead of anybody.
Torres who?

He did nothing for the majority of the game, when he got on the ball he was caught in possession, when he had time and space in dangerous area's he over played it and he wasn't creating anything, and it was the same against Arsenal. He was then pushed upfront and improved, he made a goal for Rooney and we saw some good link play and a nice turn, but you still expect much more from "our best player"

Saw the highlights and was pleased with the win. I was really hoping that Arse and Chelsea would draw but whatev we'll just get on with it. I am still confident we'll win the league.

I was watching it with 50 other mancs here and we were ecstatic when Tevez hit the net. We were singing and chanting for the rest of the game. Although for the remainder of the game, we were on the edge of the seats, in the end, it was all worth it.
Rio was immense, I remember telling my mate towards the end that he should win the MOTM. The way Anderon shows composure on the ball is brilliant for a 19 year old. VDS sure gave a few attacks.

Thought I would have an easy one when I woke up on this glorious morning. Once I heard that whistle at the end, my attitude changed. I don't think I can say much more.

On a more disappointing note, I thought Van der sar had a shocker and on some occasions we were lucky. Every player on that pitch was struggling for a while with the exception of Hargreaves and Anderson who I thought were fantastic. Today just showed why we waited so long for the services of Owen Hargreaves.

When I say an easy one, I meant an easy few drinks. I am now drunk as a skunk. There is not many better feelings as a United fan than to beat the dippers so I thought fuck it, ill take advantage.
