I hope we show up for this one and it isn't a case of putting our hopes solely on the CL and PL titles. Villa looks better this year and are dangerous on the break but I think we'll win this one.
United to win it 1-0

playing villa seems to be tricky sometimes, I hope we show real heart out there and don't just go through the motions Hopefully we win i really could care less about the scoreline.

No Tevez though apparently But Rooney's back and he can partner really well with Saha the way they did in Sunderland. Again a win is I would want - doesnt matter what scoreline or how we win - just want the players to get through the game with heart and in good health.

I think its gonna be a tougher game than some think. I'm just praying we don't concede early.

I dont care about scoreline as long as we win, but more importantly, imo, a bit of effort and desire from the lads!!

I don't think that Fergie will allow anything less than a full blown victory. As usual our away fans will sing their hearts out. Let's hope he notices, it would be foolish not to make up with the fans.

Van Der Sar
Brown - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Ronaldo - Anderson - Hargreaves - Giggs
Rooney - Saha Subs: Kuszczak, Neville, Carrick, O'Shea, Nani. I've put Neville in there because having read his blog he has said he feels he's ready for a return it's just about finding the time to put him in, I think putting him on the bench will give him a boost even if we don't use him. Villa will be a difficult match as it proved last time despite the 4-1 scoreline, despite our low key performances at the moment I'm fully confident we'll go through to the next round of the Cup. Scoreline: 3-1 United. Rooney, Ronaldo and Anderson. (A goal has to come for him soon) I can't wait to be amongst the fans for this one, yes our home support isn't always the best but you're guaranteed a bit of banter and lots of noise from our away support. As it's the only away games I can get too I'm glad we've got them in the cup! C'mon United

You're probably right, but when a player starts to get on the wrong side of the club they are'nt often given many more chances! I think that Pique may be given a starting position but I hope Brown plays, just becuase I don't want the guy to leave.

why do you think this one will be easy game we MUST dominate the game and not sit back as against west ham, early goal will be great

It hasn't stopped Fergie playing him recently and I don't expect it too this time around. I'm still confident he'll sign his contract extension.

I hope so, what do you think the reason behind him rejecting it is? does he want more money or something. If only we could see what the offer was that was given to him.
