Yep we are jetting off to another continent to play a meaningless testimonial for a player most people have never heard of during a busy part of the season.
Fergie normally complains about too many games being played in a short space of time but for some reason we accepted to go and play... i wonder if it was anything to do with the Reported 1 Million the Glazers would pocket from it?
Hopefully it will be only the reserves going over there but I would imagine there will be a few 1st team players going. It will be interesting what Fergie will say if a key player gets injured (he’ll probably keep his mouth shut to not get in trouble from the Glazers though)

I have a bad feeling about this trip, £1 million to someone like the Glazers isnt really much, is it, we shouldnt be going on the trip. Hopefully it has no bad effects on the team, and no big players play the full 90 mins.

1 million wouldn't even cover the teams wages for the week. Seems fucking pointless, but i'm not too worried, we did the Charity match vs the World 11 and there were no injuries, and it just replaced a light training session.

It might be a meaningful break for some of the players, to get out of england and get some sunshine, hopefully it will look like the squad that played at Rome earlier this year.

A silly idea, let's hope they get through it without incident and it doesn't negatively affect their performances after.

The weather in saudi is terrible , I heard. Well not really. At around 20 degrees C, it would be 'holiday weather' in Riyadh when the game takes place.

This trip is absolute nonsense. Traveling and playing in a meaningless game halfway across the world, is going to do the players no good. What's more important, getting a million pounds for the Glazers to steal, or keeping our players rested, fit, and injury free. I don't know, I guess the million...
