well.. that was hard to take.. Juande Ramos got the better of SAF in their mind games.. Rooney really was affected by SAF's comment. Carrick was the worst performer today.. He gave away lots of ball. We are really lucky to get the last gasp equaliser through Tevez. And from now on, I consider any game without Anderson starting, if he's able so, is a complacency by SAF. I guess i missed the "mind games" do you have a link so i can catch up to speed? As for the match, I think that when a team throws everyone into defense against us, we need to take a few more chances from distance. When the going gets tough, if we send balls flying from the midfield, we can trust one will go in or give us a favorable rebound. Trying to run the ball 30 yards and past 18 players all scrunched together just wasnt working for us today, and is the common link in games where we are held to a draw or loss. I hope theres no bitchin with Hargo, i got the feeling he was taken off cause he got pissed off in the locker room. I think a point is fine, there are still major games to be played. yeah firstly Ramos said we are the team to beat.. www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/2008/02/02/juande-ramos-manchester-united-are-greatest-english-team-89520-20306437/then SAF said Ramos can turn things around.. www.manutdtalk.com/forums/news-room/6732-ferguson-backs-juande-ramos-turn-things-around.html#post56891

disappointed with hearing that we drew, but there's more games to be played. We still have to play Le Arse again at home this time as well. We'll see I'm not too worried yet. Should have won this game though I feel.

I honestly thought it would be a comfortable win especially with the way Tevez and Ronaldo are performing lately and even with Anderson ye know. I think Anderson should've started and maybe brought scholesy on later on.

It was only when Anderson came on, that we changed gear and went at Spurs. So that does say something that in such difficult games, Anderson is really important for us and should start.

A point gained rather than two dropped because we deserved nothing today.
Looked completely toothless up front, Rooney was out too wide while Ronnie was up the middle. What was that about? And Rooney booked for a blatant dive, silly. Now he misses the derby. (Maybe a chance for Welbeck though?)
Yet again Anderson and Nani looked lively when they came on, I'd have like to seen Anderson come on a little earlier though.
The referee was ridiculous today, SEVEN bookings and it wasn't a really dirty game.
Two points off top spot now, not the best before an international break and with the Manchester derby coming up.
Hopefully Blackburn can do us a favour at the Emirates, nevertheless I'm still confident that we'll get back to the top of the table.

I thought Giggs and Scholes looked old and tired today. For scholes, well you can blame injury and match sharpness for that. Giggs has been great for the last couple of months, but yeah, he's getting on and should be rested from time to time. I don't see why Anderson isn't starting games ! He's the only one I see who's always determined to fucking do something from the midfield. Anderson takes the game by the scruff of the neck.

Uninspiring up front I must admit which in this tight a race we can't afford to see too much more of especially at this stage of the season. Anderson continues to impress me because he comes on with a lot of heart and is the type of player who can change the tempo of our attack, a shame he wasn't on sooner. Both him and Nani bring a lot to our team and while today they didn't change things to our favor in the end, their effort is much appreciated.

You're dead right about there being little more margin for error in this tight a race. 13 games left and we've a Manchester Derby, the Arse and the scousers at home and Blackburn and Chelsea away. We can't afford to play like we did for the first 60 odd minutes in any of those games. But having just watch the highlights it does feel more like a point gained than 2 dropped. Great effort by Vidic in winning the corner for Carlos's goal BTW. And Jenas 100% handled the ball for their goal.

I thought Scholes' performance today was a major let down. (insert any complaint about him here.) I just don't feel like going down the list. It was so evident from the begining of the game that he should come off and Anderson should be paired with Hargo. My firm belief is that he was taken off to avoid a Red card(OH). He was having to do the work of two CMs the first half. Which is okay if there is someone going forward, or playing balls through. None of which happened until Anderson came on.

Well.its dissapointing. To lose top spot in the league and to drop points against a team which we always manage to beat.Anyway, something is better than nothing and i kinda agree with fergie that it was a massive point.Had we lost,we would have needed arsenal to lose to get back on top.But now, even an arsenal draw will be good enough for us to get back on top.Evra was struggling again, brown and vidic werent as solid as they usually are.I still think its a massive point though. It might be crucial come may....

Is this was the same Spurs defence that used to ship goals left right and center?I guess we were fortunate to even get a point of this game. Credit to Spurs , they never allowed us to settle down and pass the ball around. Their work rate was second to none. The entire team had and off day nothing seem to go our way , Never seemed that we'll win this one. A horrific performance. To add to it Rooney ( a sad thing he did today :X A defeat ain't the end of the world Wayno) and Evra miss the derby . We can't expect Scholesy to play three games a week at the age of 33 and that to coming back from an injury The most defining stat of the first half is that we had one shot on target. A mighty ONE ! Anderson changes the way we play by bringing in something that Scholes doesn't these days. He drives the midfield, drags them by the collar and although his passing is not as good as Scholes' he does bring in the pace and grit to the build up. We should always start with Anderson in the midfield. Chelsea fail to capitalize , Chelsea 3 points behind and Arsenal a couple ahead.A hell of a title race this.

It was never going to be easy against Spurs. Ramos has done a great job, totally turned them around. That draw feels like a win. So relieved we got that goal right at the death. I totally agree with the opinion about Anderson. The boy is class. Even watching him now, I'm sure he's going to be one of Fergie's best ever signings. I can't wait for him to get his first goal. When he does get it, if it's at home, Old Trafford will need a new roof.

That was our 'get out of jail free' card. We were crap and Spurs played well; simple as that. However, our game improved when Anderson and Nani came on; why is Anderson only being used as a sub presently? Carrick was poor again; shame really as he has improved of late. Rooney badly needs a goal before he takes someone's head off I am slightly concerned about our inability to score goals; without Ronnie and Tevez it looks bleak. Where the f$%k is SAHA!! One point to finish with; I think that Utd will off-load both Carrick and Fletcher in the summer. Hargreaves and Anderson are the future. Newcastle will take Carrick and Birmingham (Scotland) will take Fletcher.

The game seemed to turn once Anderson came on. Hargreaves wasn't great and maybe playing him makes us too defensive against certain teams. Frustrating performance, but Spurs are playing well so a draw is no surprise. The annoying thing is that Arsenal don't look like they are going to slip up at the mo, like we all thought they would and we can't seem to shake off Chelsea. Still, we have 2 games against the 'big 4' at Old Trafford whilst Arsenal still have to come to us and go to Stamford Bridge. Im sure they will both mess up soon, so im not downcast at all. We can't win them all unfortunatly.

Just reading a match report and Dawson is claiming it as an own-goal? Not only is he a clumsy, error-prone plank, he's thick as well!
