3 – 1’s and 4 – 1’s, away from home, against a much improved Spurs side, was never happening.
We were bad. Role on our next game...

Just a thought. Tevez was booked for taking his shirt off when he scored. I think it's a ludicrous rule to book a player for celebrating a goal in the first place. He had an undershirt on. It's not like he was bare chested. He's a terrier. He could easily pick up more bookings during the rest of the season. To think he could end up being missing from what could be a crucial game, just because he took off his shirt because he scored a goal. The nazi FA and their spineless obsession to take passion out of the game. #furious#

The only thing I can say about this game, is that Anderson is the main man in midfield now, and should feel aggreived at losing his place to a not fully fit 33 year old.

Whoa! Scholesy may be 33 and unfit. But he deserves our respect. Buckets of it. End of.

Of corse he'll get respect, he's one of the best players we've ever had but Anderson has been magnificent, and as Tatty says, should feel a bit put out that he lost his place in the starting line up. No doubt about it, Scholes on his day is one of the first names on the sheet but at the moment the impetus is with Anderson, and he is proving himself to be far better than most of us could only dream about.

A point gained imo. We had an off game and Spurs had a good game especially in defence. They should have won easily by a clear margin really but we kept going. Giggs and Scholes failed to deliver today and should have been taken off sooner. I would have brought Anderson on first instead of Carrick as he really changed the game when he came on while Carrick did little.
Our tactics seemed off, Rooney was playing out wide to much and Ronny was playing up front and both had little effect on the game.
We kept going till the end and got our reward, its not only a point gained but a psychological boost.
As for Rooney's dive that was just pathetic and he deserves to miss arguably the most meaningful game in our history on Sunday. Hopefully he will learn his lesson while watching from the stands.

At least we got one point rather than no points. It's a shame that we couldn't keep up with Arsenal at the moment, but there's still plenty of matches to go. Roll on next match!

Nail. Hit. Head. As much as I love Scholesey he's no longer the 'Untouchable' he was. It says alot that we looked more purposeful with both Nani and Anderson on the pitch in place of Giggs and Scholes.

Hey - I agree that both Nani and Anderson should be on the pitch more. A lot more. Both are a lot more exciting to watch that's to say the least. Anderson makes it seem as though Scholes is still there but sends us forward with insight and a mind for goal, just like Scholes did when he was younger. Just needed to ensure we doff the hat to a great.

When I was watching this match I thought about start of season... we were playing very poor in first half... in second situation changed a little bite one but it was too little too late. 1 point in this game is good result imo.
