Vs I'm not sure what to make of this one after Sunday I'd like to think we'd win it but my confidence has been blown. I also just rang the ticket office and I've been relocated in the North East Quadrant in 3417. Not the best but I've heard a lot of noise from that area lately so should be ok I guess. Doesn't beat Stretty though Bloody Arsenal fans taking full allocation!!

Play anything like Sunday they'll take us apart! But its Arsenal and we usually up our game and hopefully after 7 days of the Hair dryer treatment our players will turn up! And try and prove to us that they still want this!

I'm thinking a close game - maybe 1-0.

VDS Simpsom Pique/Ferdinand Vidic Evra Ronaldo Carrick Scholes/Anderson Giggs Rooney Welbeck/Tevez Tevez needs a rest. He's exhausted. And I don't know what happened to Rio: any would be ok.

Luckily we are getting a few key players back for this one. My team would be
---------------------------------------VDS
Brown-----------------Rio--------------------Vidic--------------------Evra
Ronaldo-------------------Anderson---------Hargreaves--------------Nani
------------------------------Rooney----------------Tevez
Bench
The Pole O'shea Scholes Giggs Carrick
Scholes has been poor since he's back from injury so i think we could do with bringing him on around the 60 mins mark instead of starting him. Giggs has been pretty poor all season so shouldn’t start ahead of Nani till he gets some form back. Anderson and Hargreaves together have looked great (Liverpool and Arsenal away)
We missed Rooney on Sunday. Also Evra was a big loss on Sunday without him and Neville bombing forward we hardly created any decent chances. His return and possibly Neville in a few games could be vital.
I can never predict an accurate score for Utd Vs Arsenal games but here goes... 3-2 to Utd!
If the atmosphere isn’t great for a huge FA cup game against Arsenal with plenty of hours of drinking time before hand i might just spontaneously combust.

I can't see Giggs not starting being honest.

Sunday's result might be a dent in our confidence going into this one I imagine, it did mine; onward though so let's get the job done. I like your line up DJB and agree about Scholes because I'd feel more comfortable with him coming in rather than starting. We'll need to start sharp and take it to them because if we're going to sit back and let them get into their swing then it will be a long day. I'm not sure about Nani starting though but I do agree that he's another of our older players who hasn't been performing very well.
2-1 United...I hope and hope and hope.

close game, and i dont know who will win. Hopefully the home advantage will pull us through, hopefully

I rang to find my usuall ticket in the stretford end has been given to someone else, and I don't have one! I have had to pay £45 for a £30 ticket (viagogo) in the heights of tier 3 in the North Stand! But at least I have a ticket.

I cant see us boouncing back, but it will be a tight game 1-0 to someone, too upset to think straight about who'll win.
I'll keep the faith though and go with 1-0 to United. Rooney to score.

Van Der Sar
Brown - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Ronaldo - Hargreaves - Scholes - Giggs
Rooney - Tevez Back to basics with the line-up, pick the best XI for the game and I think Hargreaves over Anderson in this one. Anderson can be useful off the bench whereas Hargreaves wouldn't if we were 1-0 down or whatever. We need to rebuild the confidence, beating Arsenal in the Cup will do that and also knock them back a bit so hopefully we can do it. I'm going for a 1-1 though. Rooney and Adebayor on the scoresheet.

Carrick's gotta start I reckon. He's come on against Spurs and City when we're losing and imo really made a difference. I'm pretty sure Fergie'll start him, i hope so anyway.

I just want a win. Don't care how. Don't care who starts. A win to knock Arsenal out of the Cup and give us the boost of confidence we need and knock their confidence !
