That was brilliant. The midfield were all superb. Deserved ovation for Anderson, and surely Nani's best ever game for us. Proud to be a Red. That's the benchmark for the rest of the season. Marvellous!

U know your playing like shite if Fletch puts 2 past you. I like him but he isn't exactly a scoring machine. What a performance by all the players, kinda feel embarrased for the French U-21's.

Anyone else have a sinking feeling when we saw that Cristiano wasn't even on the bench? Oh, we of little faith . . . . ;D Top drawer performances from all the lads - just class all the way. Loved Nani's bit of showboating in the 2nd half, even if it did earn him a couple of nasty kicks in the legs later. Park was all over the pitch, Anderson was awesome, Wayne was great. Really can't say enough about our boys. Carrick put in an outstanding performance, including some lovely pin-point floating passes. Saha had a couple of great chances - good to see that. Really, at times, it was like United were putting on a clinic - it was that brilliant. I owe Fletcher an apology for the less than complimentary things I've thought about him from time to time. Adebayor's dive would have been disgraceful if it hadn't been so amusing. Fabregas was totally shut down. Gallas was lucky not to get sent off for that petulant kick at Nani. Eboue - what was he thinking? I was worried for Evra for a couple of minutes after that challenge. Fletcher:

Cannot sit down ovation for Nani lol kept me standing whenever he gets the ball. Made me curse on how good he outplayed them. Anderson was again marvellous, Fabregas simply no match for him at all. I just hope Rooney can be more sharp in front of goal. Nani showed him how to do it. Fletcher played his best game in years.
Just marvellous. Glory Glory

Sorry folks but Fergie wants Europe! I don't think that lineup is good enough to win this, the bench will have to play a big role to get something from this You were saying? To quote the Milan players after they battered us in May: "It was the perfect game.". Fletcher is a big game player Anderson, Nani (my MOTM), Carrick, Wazza ... hell, EVERYONE played great. Where was Fabregas/Hleb? Eduardo's the only outfield player on their team that can come away with a little credit. If it weren't for Mad Jens, it wudda been 8. Fantastic performance. Bring on Lyon!

What a game! Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson, Nani, and Rooney really stood out, but the whole team was fantastic today.
Great seeing how bad sore losers Arsenal are!

Fletcher , A big game player. He deserved a hat-trick today. Never lets us down in any big games.
Carrick , he has been fucking awesome since the Newcastle game. Anderson ,goodness me I am lost for words right now. He is due a goal.
Nani proved his worth was involved in all the four goals. Rooney led the line brilliantly.
I am lost for words to be honest.

Park and Fletcher? If Saha is fit we should play him. Does that line up look suspiciously like 4-5-1 to anyone else? My finest post!

I will long remember this day as the one which I couldn't get to the pub and missed the opportunity to sing throughout at the distraught gooners....so is life. This was the match we needed after those two lackluster performances against Spurs and The Massive, and any time we can stuff the gooners to keep their egos in check is just magnificent for me. Can't wait until Tuesday to give my gooner coworker grief after his endless "we're top of the league" this whole week. The great thing is we beat them at home and showed we can neutralize their attack even with Adebayor, Fabregas and Hleb so that mystique got flushed down the loo. I hope we stuff them when they come to Old Trafford again because while I'm ecstatic right now, for us to beat them soundly and gain ground again will be perfect. I can't wait to watch the match later!
