I am a 1 year season ticket holder, and when I bought this I was forced to joing the Automatic Cup Scheme as everyone else was.
Last week though my friend said I had to apply in a Ballot for the FA cup game against Arsenal, and sure enough when I looked at the website it said all 1 year season ticket holders have to go in a ballot as there are not enough seats due to the increased number of Arsenal fans! I couldn't beleive it!
What made it worse is that fact that MUFC did not alert me to this, and if my friend had not pointed this out, I would not have even had the chance to apply!
I have now been told this morning that I was unsuccesfull in the ballot.
I have forked a lot of money this season thinking I would be going to every game at OT and now I cannot even go to this Saturdays game! I am absolutely gutted!
Has anyone else had a similar experiance? Also are there any One United Members out there who have got tickets for Saturdays game, because obviously season ticket holders should have priority over members.

I did a post about this last week mate. It’s a joke. I'm lucky enough to have a full season ticket but Utd are taking the piss by charging 1 year season ticket holders for all the cup games until this big one then not even telling them they have to apply for the "chance" What makes it even more ridiculous is how all 1 year season ticket holders were forced to buy a Coventry ticket, Coventry took 11k to OT while Arsenal are only taking 9K yet the same season ticket holders now have to apply which makes it seem like they don’t have enough seats for them You'll just have to hope you get lucky and can get one on Viagogo if you don't have one already.

I'm a 1-Year season ticket holder. I rang them up and I've been lucky enough to get a ticket but its not in my usual Stretford End seat but in the North East Quadrant. It pisses me off big time. I only found out that I had to apply for this game when I saw a post on here. They even asked at the ticket office if I was told and sounded surprised when I said no.
This scheme is just rank and I hope that Mr Gill sees the monstrosity he's put upon us 1-Year ticket holders!!!
