Great result, gutted about conceding one but nevertheless we did the job we had to, scored five goals and closed the gap on Arsenal.
Five top goals, Rooney and Ronaldo are just so deadly and my favourite goal of the match had to be Louis Saha's despite Rooney's fantastic second, I was just hoping Louis would score because hopefully now he's got the confidence to push on with this season. So happy for him.
Rooney got two goals and an assist, Ronaldo got two goals and an assist and Michael Carrick and Nani were just fantastic again.
The strength in depth we have at this club is really coming to fruition now, this time last season we were firing on all cylinders but players were falling out with knocks and suspensions now we have the players to cover.
We won this game 5 - 1 without starting the likes of Anderson, Scholes, Giggs and Hargreaves plus with Saha hopefully gaining fitness and confidence we have depth that no other club can compete with.
We've got ourselves in a position where we should win the league from and I'd hate for us to drop some silly points from here now.
Great result, great goals and so happy for King Louis!

Wow. 11 goals against Newcastle. Brilliant day, and I feel like we're back on top. A bit of a slow start, but we just make it look so easy!!! Nani had some fantastic crosses, and I was glad to see him and Fletch starting. Great link up between Ronny and Rooney for the first, though it was horrific defending. Then we were just unstoppable. The two goals will boost Rooney's confidence loads, and how about that second. Cool as you like. Wonderful to see Saha get a goal too. Hope Vidic is alright. Bring on Arsenal!! ;D

Good performance once again. Ronaldo was brilliant made one and scored two. As always a constant threat for the opposition. So 29 , it is.
Rooney had a cracking game , don't why he was deployed on the left. Two goals and a assist.Very unselfish of him to pass it to Saha despite being on an hat-trick.His second goal just sums it up his performance.
Carrick was brilliant once again, my MOM.Fletch and Nani both had good games , 1-5 away from from without Giggs, Hargreaves , Anderson. the big squad now , is really reaping its reward.
Oh , btw don't we just love playing against Newcastle. Surely there is only one Kevin Keegan.

Again, Saha looked razor sharp and raring togo, which at this satge of the season is priceless.
Scholes showed glimpses of what he can do in his cameo role, and O'Shea tied up our left flank, which Evra failed to do first half.
All that was pleasing.
However, Mitchell Carrick, once again a Masterclass in 'Quaterback' Midfiled play. The lad can be as devesating as Rooney and Ronaldo when he's on his game, and he was today.
Tevez was quiet.

Brilliant match and great performance from the team. Was a bit surprised to see Anderson not playing especially since the way he has been performing lately. Glad Rooney and Ronaldo got two each..... Certainly boost the confidence. Louis Saha..... What can ye say about the lad. I think SAF should risk playing him in the next round of the FA Cup against Pompey. Let him get his full rythem back. Nice of him to get a goal today. Absolutely adored Carrick's play today. Some great passing from him. Lets hope he keeps it up. Scholes'y nearly got one......

Hey well have our on and off days like Tevez But just so pleased with Rooney scoring a brace (as I wanted), Ronaldo getting some, and of course Louis Saha getting one to boost his determination for the remaining games. Good to see Giggs, Anderson et al have a nice break

Great performance from the boys! I really dont know why people were saying this game was gonna be close. Newcastle are absolutely terrible even when they are at home.
Loved that Saha scored and he looked very lively up front and linked up really well with Rooney. Also glad that Wayne is starting to score goals again.

Great performance, Carrick, as I have said all season, is one of our best players, and once on form you'll be licking his arse again, to anyone who asdi stuff like, he isnt a United player etc!!! Anyone still got their complaints? Look at today again.
Ronaldo was brilliant, might have got another hattrick but he came off, Rooneys second goal was just pure class!!! Loved how they took the piss out of Roonie, singing "What the fuckin hell was that", a minute later he has his 5th of the season against them!!!
Didnt think Saha was as good as some are saying, his goal he took wel but bar that was ineffective, imo.
I would never have predicted this!!!
PS- Karan, dont do stuff like Eduardos ankle in a sig, it's out of order!!!
