Date has not been confirmed yet (1st/2nd April), but this thread is for those who are going and want the cheapest or best flight tickets. It will also provide info on where to go in Rome and I guess football-related news. I might book Tuesday to Thursday, but if our game is on a Tuesday and if we lose, then I have 2 days in Rome to be reminded of it all.
Please sticky til the game finishes. This is just a thread for away day. And if anyone is coming, then maybe we could meet up if we're all going at the same time and that? Or even over there. I'm going/meeting loads of people over there. Going with my mate and know loads of Stretford Enders, so you'll feel at home.

Hope everything will go along smoothly this time along, although I highly doubt it.

It's going to be the English fans' fault again, no doubt.

I'm thinking about it, as the money situation is I'd probably have to kip rough, that's usually ok anywhere but with the trouble in Rome I'm not so sure!

I went Lille by myself last year. Didn't book a hotel and knew there wasn't gonna be anything going, but went on anyway. I met a group over there and was with them all night and the day after. They let me sleep on the floor as there wasn't anymore room anywhere else. You'll be looked after if you meet some people over there. Nice place, too. Novatel (or Novotel).

Yeah I stayed in a novotel when I went to watch em in Amsterdam, managed to blag a lift to the game with some utd fans which was good coz I was wasted. I wanna get a game between now and the end of the season, I think the Roma game would be the best, If we get through though i'd have no problem sleeping rough in Barcelona. It's just the trouble in Rome I don't fancy it. The home game goes on sale tommorow I think.

Normally this would be the best opportunity for me to see United but because of the fan trouble I'm not sure it's worth the risk.

Well, I just bought tickets for the Bolton game so I'll leave the Roma tie. I think I'll save up for the Barca game and go over regardless of wether I get tickets or not. It'll still be a laugh over there. I love spain!

And there's less chance of getting stabbed in the arse, which is alwasy a plus point when going abroad.

In the last 5 years there wasn't a single game between Roma/Lazio and an English side where no one had been stabbed! So take your body armor along lads! Would be a waste!
