Hello
I've just been to watch the reserves tonight at Northwich Victoria, and I thought you might like to hear what i thought about performances and we can discuss it.
Well 3 players stood out for me among all others and they were Silvestre who played really well at left back which is excellent for the rest of the season, with Rio injured and Evra having played alot and O'Shea not bein left footed this could be a real boost.
Daniel Welbeck scored a hat-trick his first goal the pick of the bunch he had some great touches and was good at hold up play and winning headers against a huge centre half, he also was composed with the penalty.
Possebon, Chester and Simpson, Gray and Barnes looked good, and Cleverley average.
Neville did nothing of note and never seemed part of the team just a stepping stone back to match fitness.
HOwever the outstanding player of the night was Welbeck's support striker and the number 10 for the night Chris Eagles. He was immense and looked far better than anyone on the pitch, he was passionate had great energy good strength everything he did in the game was superb, setting up one for Welbeck and only missing out on scoring due to Welbeck being on a hattrick. This lad is too good for the Reserves he should be pushing for a regular place on the bench and he has so much to offer, except we play him on the wing we should give him a game to try and run the show behind the striker giving him a free role maybe against Wigan if the title is won and see how he does, and then decide wether his future is at OT or at a club like Blackburn where he could become an England player like Bentley has.
Great result 4-1 after conceding after two minutes
