I don’t think anything is going to come of it, we can talk about possible transfers until we’re blue in the face, but the reality is, we won’t know anything until Alex whips out his cheque book and starts spending. ‘’ Come on Alex ‘’
I believe he will remain a Spurs player.

Good passer but i don't think he can dominate a midfield. Plus apart from the good game he had for England v USA ?, he hasn't exactly stood out against the top midfielders in the Premiership and hasn't played at European level yet to judge. I cannot see us going for him for the above reasons and because at Spurs, with their newly found ambitions, they wouldn't part with him for a reasonable price.

I think Carrick's a reasonable player, but the guy is seriously overrated, i can't see him going to United and i wouldn't be bothered if he didn't sign!

How can people say Carrick is overated?
He's been Spuds best player this season by far, hence the almost over achieved finale to the season this year.
AND HE WILL ONLY GET BETTER
Personally I don't believe the Spuds would let him go but if they did I would rather him at United then Diarra

I can't see SAF spending more than 25 million in the summer! Everyone keeps saying we need two top class midfielders and a forward, if Diarra's 20 million, then thats really imiting our options, unless you believe we have more to spend!

Glazers advised we would have 25 million spending kitty and obviously with the likely departure of RVN that should bump it up to about 35-40 million. Id be touting RVN to the Spuds if I was deffo gettin rid and use him as a bargaining tool for Carrick. Anyone know how Fergies trip to Lyon went at the weekend and how Lyon got on? I hope Diarra had a mare

I hope Diarra had a mare Fergie enjoyed his trip to Lyon, he drank some delightful 1964 wine , ate some cheese and bought one of those small plastic replicas of th efiel tower, it was pretty cheap as Lyon sn't anywhere near the eifel tower. Dunno how Lyon got on though man.
