When we were dominant in the Premiership we tried to build a team that would be successfull in Euriope and that basically took our eyes of the key that opens the gate to Europe.

1st target of the season SHOULD be as it is now and thats to become Premiership Champions.

The Dippers and the Gooners (almost) created teams that were successfull in the Champs league but couldn't really hold there own on the domestic front.

Anyone notice when we won the Champs league it was because of exciting football and we could score goals a plenty.

Porto, Dippers and the Gooners success was built on defensive ability more than attack.

And, BARCA did it properly. Barcelona deserve credit as they gave the European Cup that credibility it had lacked when Liverpool and Porto won it!

Sure, winning the premiership certainly is important too we wouldn't want to have the media on top of us for winning the CL and coming in 4th like a certain team we all love...
