It will certainly look good on paper. Let’s hope that it doesn't work and the players get miffed and the Russian thief gets arrested and chelski get liquidated and we get back to dominating and being hated by everyone- as it should be. ;D

The pressure is on them. If we finish 8 points behind them again next season, then OK. But if they don't win EVERY trophy they should be ashamed. lol.

eh...I'm not worried about who else they go out and buy, doesn't change the fact that we'll have to face them either way. As I've probably repeated too many times, it will be soooo sweet if we win the league with cheaper lesser known players.

eh...I'm not worried about who else they go out and buy, doesn't change the fact that we'll have to face them either way. As I've probably repeated too many times, it will be soooo sweet if we win the league with cheaper lesser known players. That would be sweet, but the problem is Sir Alex hasn't had luck finding unknown gems recently, apart from Heinze. I guess you can't always find an OLE or a Schmeical. |

Still isn't a United player yet, so I don't wanna jinx it! But even if he does sign for us he won't be able to play in England for at the very least 2 years due to permit issues. But Sir Alex might have very well found a gem in this player, he does look brilliant from the videos I've seen of him. |

i hope SAF finds a great midfielder in the world cup, i want to see more of Mascherano and the world cup is the best place

Sure but we always take a gamble because even when players look promising sometimes they don't get accustomed to the league or the country. I fancy signing Nolan, he's good and I think he would work out well. Riquelme...I like him too but have my doubts of him adjusting. Cambiasso interests me because I think his style of play will fit in just right in the prem and he brings experience with him as well. |

I think the Chelsea team could start falling apart soon. Already Drogba and Gallas have said they want to leave, and with such a competitive midfield I cant see Wright-Phillips, Duff, Essien all wanting to stay so I think they will all ask to be transferred next season, and with more players realising that Chelsea is too competitive they hopefully not want to go there.

When Chelski were signing all their players last summer, I feared them after that and thought United would be unable to cope with them. But now I don't get that feeling, after seeing United's late run of excellent form and Fergie & Gill's promise of world-class signings which I think will be fulfilled I believe United should be feared next season!
