I think you're right mate - hopefully the Glazers will have looked at that £10-£15m we missed out on by not reaching the quarters of the CL and will do some smart investing.

Personally, I'd like us to swap Cristiano Ronaldo for Becham.
Seriously, I like Mascherano. I think he's a quality player and appears to be a tough character. My concern with him would be that he plays in Argentina and it's a really slow league. I wonder if his work rate would be as prevalent in the Premiership.
Another player I like is Tevez, who strikes me has having some bottle.

I wouldn't mind a Beckham return to Old Trafford, but for Cristiano Ronaldo?...that's utter bollocks!..Ronaldo is only going to get better and at this moment in time is one of the best in the world. Alongside Rooney, United have two players who will take the footballing world by storm, why a Manchester United fan would want Ronaldo to leave is beyond me!

Completely agree with you, Becks has only got 1 or 2 good seasons left max, and I think that Ronaldo can become better than Beckham. If we do go for a Real Madrid player I think it should be Guti as he is class, and is underrated because he wasn't signed for a huge amount.

I like Becks and would love to see him in a red shirt again but not in a swap for Ronaldo. Granted he hasn't produced to the extent that everyone expected but the talent is there and is well worth keeping him.
