Has anyone seen or heard of the rumour going round scotland that Man Utd are interested in signing Craig Gordon from Hearts after Tim Howard was shipped out on loan? I accually think this would work if it's true, The guy is practically a 21 year old immage of van der sar. 6' 4ish very quick, unbalievable talent too...
what you guys think??

We shouldn't be signing a young keeper, we've got Foster who looks a class act, another youung keeper would hinder his progress, we just need someone older to be VDS's deputy for this season while Foster gets some Prem experience at Watford, he will come back to OT a real quality keeper and he can take over from VDS

I think Foster should be left at Watford for at least another season, he is a first class prospect in some critical years of his development as a player, the experience of playing week in and week out against premiership teams will be invaluable, rather than stuck on the bench as VDS's replacement.
I think we will buy a keeper the lad at WBA seems favourite.

Hilario is just an average keeper who is a good back up keeper because he doesn't complain and he can fit straight into a game - he has good concentration. This signing might mean Cudicini will leave because I cant see the once best keeper in the Premiership playing in the reserves an extra year.

If you can get Time Hildebrand away from Stuttgart he'd be a great signing, I've been saying it since I first saw him play for Stuttgart, great keeper. At 27, he's got expierence and still quite a few years left in him.
Can't imagine Stuttgart would ask for a small price though.

Cudicini is better than Hilarious or whatever the cunts name is. Craig Gordon would be a great signing but in Howard & Foster we have two, young talented 'keepers so therefore, we don't need anyone else.

I think Howard will play and it'll be a great experience for him, and if he does well then perhaps Timmy can be the heir to VDS. We should save the money for mid-field acquisitions.

He'll definitely be playing. He's much better than anyone else they've got. He was pretty good for us when he first started off so we know he can do it, he just has to perform more consistently and hopefully he will learn how to do that this year. The only problem is that being at Everton he is going to constantly be worked throughout a game, but at United he might have to sit there for 90 minutes and then come up with the goods in the last minute. Let's see how he does. I just hope he isnt allowed to play against us.

tim howard has no confidence in himself. he always looks far too nervous when he plays for us so i think hell be sold at the end of his loan

We'll see how he does at Everton where he should get more playing time and develop.
