bit old but he wud surely improve our midfield alot. we hav been linked with him wud not mind him and another 1 or 2 younger midfielders and Ribery!

Our main problem is an ageing midfield, Scholes and Giggs are losing their powers, Keane-o was well on the decline when he left, we need young blood with energy and hunger for the game, yes that will bring inexperience but Scholesy, Giggs and other senior players will look after them, I don't think Emerson would be a good choice

No thanks, would be good in the short-term. United need to sign long-term players because one, we need to look to the future as well as the present and we haven't got the money to be replacing signings who will only be around for 2-3 years, we're not BOLTON!

lol, yeah it seems Chelsea are going for hte quick fix, though they have signed youth preiously, it appears that a lot of the youth may move on - carlton Cole (scott Parker b4) etc. With us,w e don'thav ehte funds to keep shelling out on big names, we need to buy a great player, and he has to be young so as to allow investement elsewhere, we can't be spending 15mil on a CM every 2 seasons!
