Molde have warned Manchester United off making a move for one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's prodigies.
The United striker, who will undertake more coaching duties at Old Trafford next term, is thought to have recommended Magnus Wolff Eikrem to Sir Alex Ferguson, after he was discovered at the 33-year-old's soccer school.
Molde, the club who sold Solskjaer to United in 1996, are keen to hang onto Eikrem as he is still only 15 years old and, they feel, too young to be heading for Manchester.
"I have nothing to say about this, except that we want to keep him at Molde," director Tarje Nordstrand told Nettavisen.
"We consider it natural that he will stay here and develop further and, when he is good enough, he takes the step abroad."
Meanwhile, Eikrem has remained tight-lipped about the situation.
"I don't want to comment if I have received an offer from Manchester United," said the teenager.
Norwegian sources claim Eikrem has already had a number of trials with The Red Devils and is set to be offered a contract when he turns 16, which is later this year. ----------------------------------
