from what i saw he definetly is no winger, as he never really stuck to his line much, never tried to beat the full back and cross the ball....he looks a good centre midfielder though....he played well wen he drifted into the middle, but his best work was when he was breaking the ball through the middle and his tackling was first class.....one that sticks in the mind was a tackle he made in the left back position..... he looks very strong and quick as well and he took his goal very well....

He's about 22 i think and would cost less than £10m... unsure about the permit situation, but if Park & Essien got there's so quick than I think he'd get his, because he features in almost all of Ghana's games therefore the 75% mark would be reached.

Well he has been in Italy for last few years so he should have an EU passport, he wouldn't plead to move if he couldn't get a work permit I would imagine.

he did mention the reason he didnt sign for us wen he had trials at 16 was due to work permit issues...
he seemed very sure that he would be at united next season in that press conference, so maybe the deal is already tied up and instead of keeping quite he opened his mouth...

It won't happen there has been too much media speculation ManU cannot compete or should I say Glazier won't compete with the top european teams as far as transfer money goes. If Fergie was interested in him he would have had him watched in the Champs league and bought him before the world cup started lets face it if he has a good tournament his transfer fee will double. Man Utd tried long and hard to get Ballack but would not put the money up. We are desperate for a strong midfield general but it won't happen with Muntari we have missed the boat yet again. Glazier and co. need to realise that they have to spend big to attract the best and that is not going to happen anytime soon. I sincerely hope I am wrong but I think not. Ballack would have made the difference and with him we would have regained our rightful place at the top of the premiership but I think we shall fall about 8 points short again the cockney blue scum will triumph once more

Didnt see him today mate so cant answer your questions, but doubt he would cost too mcuh to be honest, anyone reckon it would be over 5 mill? If not then people can shut up about diarra, well get him, hes younger, cheaper and wants to play for the club, good buy by my reckoning

Good to hear that someone wants to come to United. Hopefully someone from the staff is scouting him and can make a determination to see if he would fit in to our game plan.

Muntari almost joined us twice, when he was 16 and it was strongly rumoured again at christmas but he got injured. He would have cost in the region of 7 or 8 million but now who knows? I thought we were supposed to get all our business done before the world cup like Chelsea, who managed to sign 5 players in that time. What does it say about our scouting system that we're still waiting to make a move? Shouldn't we hae already identified our targets well in advance of this tournament? Even if Muntari's price increased we should go for him. He plays centrally for Udinese, he's young and he seems desperate to play for the club and not for monetary reasons. He'd also have no problem getting a work permit. but we'll probably spend twice as much on Diarra...

Our scouting system is one of the world's best. Finding people like Obi Mikel & Robben who Chelsea stole off us as well as players like Rincon, Rossi, Piqué...you can't fault our scouting system what you can fault is the way our transfers are dealt.
But, who knows?...Maybe our transfers are wrapped up. Before when we were a PLC we would find out straight away about a transfer now they may have kept it quiet as the player/s are on international duty in Germany.
