i think if the rumors are true about ronado wantin to go to real well i think young aaron has just as much pertenchal as ronnie i would like him to stay but i think lennon is a great prospect and we should buy him now for a reasonable price but if we wait to long his value will rocket coz the likes of chelski will be sniffin round any view i think carrick and lennon for 17.5mil is a deal

IF the deal is to eventually go through with Carrick (and my God things are taking a long time) then I highly doubt Spurs would let another of their stars come our way. And Ronaldo won’t go to Real, not just yet anyway. He’s publicly said he wants to make his mark at united first. Although I have no doubts that he’s going to end up finally walking away, just let’s hope we get a big sum for him.
But let’s cross that bridge when we come to it.

Despite all the over-the-top raving about him on forums and in the media can he actually cross a ball? i ask because i've yet to see it. Undoubtedly he can run with the ball and gets people excited when he’s confronting the opposition full back but i've yet to see an end product. Perhaps an English unproductive winger is better than a Portuguese one?

In fear of repeating my self, we really need to get some experienced players, not any more kids. We need world class players, not any more average players, especially ones who have yet to grow up. United will end up a nursery rather than afootball club at this rate.

Giggs, Scholes, Neville, VDS, Heinze, Van Nistelrooy Ferdinand, Solsjaer.. we have the experienced players, Fergie has been building a team around them for the last few years with young talent so they can grow together and replace these lot. Although i can see what you mean we need someone in their peak around 26/27, not someone still learning for the midfield.

Of course we will be building our team around our more experienced players, however if these players are injured are the kids going to manage to fend for themselves? There's nothing wrong in getting young players, but a lot of these kids full of promise end up being just full of promise and nothing else. Of course there are exceptions, like Rooney, but he is one in a million. Lennon himself has yet to impress me, I think we should concentrate on getting Carrick.
