BBC Sport:
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been named the Barclays manager of the season for winning his second successive Premiership title. Mourinho was given the award by the Barclays Award Panel, which includes representatives from football's governing bodies, the media and fans.
Matt Appleby, from the panel, said: "Chelsea have yet again been the dominant force this season.
"Mourinho proved he is one of the most tactically astute managers around."
Chelsea finished the season eight points clear of second-placed Manchester United despite losing their final two games of the campaign.
The Blues had clinched the title by beating United 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on 29 April.
Only United have managed Chelsea's feat in winning back-to-back titles since the formation of the Premiership in 1992.
What a load of rubbish. As IF Jose has been the best manager this season It seems every time a new award is announced, it confirms to me all the more what a load of crap they are.

Anyone would be manager of the season with the stupid amount of money he’s got to spend on his squad. Although this aside, I don’t believe for a second he should have the award, silly amounts of money to spend or not. For me, it has to be Hughes or Jewell.

From the Championship to a mid table finish in the Premiership topped off with a place in the FA Cup Final!

Yeah, I forgot about him. Great decision to buy Ashton too, he’s a good player. Either one of the three managers mentioned I’d say, not Jose.
