I thought he was signing as striker but according to reports he's going to be playing in his usual position of midfield.

Their midfielders: Frank Lampard, Claude Makelele, Michael Essien, Damien Duff, Njitap Geremi, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Arjen Robben & Joe Cole.

Theres going to be some unhappy players next season I feel. Unless Jose play's 0-8-2

There are going to be some very unhappy players at Chelsea now. And it wouldn’t surprise me, actually, I’d put good money on it that some of their ‘stars’ end up going elsewhere.

Ballack won’t make a difference, trust me, the silly German lost what he had a long time ago. He really thinks he’s going to be able to keep up with the pace of the Premiership? He’s 30 in September, great buy Jose.

It's going to be great, two massive ego's in the Midfield Lampard and Ballack who both will probably think they're the most important to the team, and ones English and ones A German. Can't wait!
