fantasyfootball.metro.co.uk/Alright, lads and ladies the World Cup is on it's way and I've decided I'm going to open a few threads for Fantasy Football tournaments, I'm going to create a league for Republik of Mancunia users and we'll see who wins. This is the first one, the Metro Fantasy tournament. It's free to enter and there's money to win, the top prize being £20,000. Not bad, is it ey? To enter, register > create a team > click on 'leagues' > where it says 'Join a Private League' enter this code: 5319-2513. Discuss your team selections, team names, unknown players, etc on here. I’d never done one of these before, until I did on FFF, Premiership based though and not expecting to get anywhere, and although I parted from FFF I finished a respectable 2nd out of LOADS of people, I can’t remember how many though, must have been at least 90 – 100 at the time, probably more.
But yeah, cheers for this mate, I’ll take a look later and if it’s a hit and people show interest, then perhaps its own section on the forum.

The Official FIFA one starts in 2 days, so when that starts I'll create a league for that too...that's only of course if the Admins don't mind, you and Journo (Scott the Red) seem sound though!

You're allowed to make 'unlimited transfers' up until 8th June. after the World Cup starts points will get deducted for each transfer I think.!

Count me in! Quick question though .. Why is my formation 4-4-3? Mine was automatically 4-4-2 but I've only got one sub and that has to be a striker when I want to select a midfielder or defender... |
