Alright, lads and ladies the World Cup is on it's way and I've decided I'm going to open a few threads for Fantasy Football tournaments, I'm going to create a league for Republik of Mancunia users and we'll see who wins.

This is the first one, the Metro Fantasy tournament. It's free to enter and there's money to win, the top prize being £20,000. Not bad, is it ey?

To enter, register > create a team > click on 'leagues' > where it says 'Join a Private League' enter this code: 5319-2513.

Discuss your team selections, team names, unknown players, etc on here. And, good luck.

can i give everyone a bit of advice...... stop picking defensive midfielders for your side....you dont need a side that would work in reality....just one that will get points..... ok kaka and mascherano would work amazing in real life....but in fantasy football ronaldinho and kaka would get more points....
