im sorry, but as much as i dislike didier, i do see some gd play from him sometimes, even though at the end of the day he is a cheat and IMO shouldnt have made it to the top 50 players
However, drogba 10th isnt as big a joke as lampard coming 2nd....he is THE most over-rated player and half his shots just get deflected in.
personally, if it was out of the chelsea players and two were going to go in the top 10 this year,it would have had to be makelele who plays the sort of role that isnt noticed until he isnt actually playing and joe cole, who in all fairness plays some greatt football. id certainly rather them to have come in the top 10 then thos overrated piles of shite that are lampard and drogba
sorry, get abit carried away when it comes to chelsea players

I agree, Lampard is overrated, Terry and Cole are much better performers. I think there is too much focus on Lampard in the England squad as well. To accomodate his lack of defensive capabilities, they have Gerrard, who is arguably a bigger talent than Rooney (at the moment), siiting back and defending. And don't forget, it was the emergence of Lampard that forced Scholesy to retire from international football because he kept getting shunted out on the left by Sven, which was a disgrace considering Scholes is a better player than Lampard, Lamps has been sitting on a pedastal when he really isn't all that, a good player but nowhere near the heights of 2nd best player in the world

i agree completly that he should have never been 2nd best player in the world i will agree he is a good player but not were near as god as some other on offer, for example gerrard even if he plays for LFC. i dont understand why people rate lamps so highly

Lampard and Drogba don't belong in the top 10. Gerrard - yes. He's fuckin' twice the player Lampard is, but he plays for Liverpool. Liverpool & Manchester United players get underestimated. The big name that sticks out is Van Nistelrooy, he is always underestimated!

its not saying lampard is the 2nd best in the world it means lampard played the 2nd best in the world in 2005 which is absolute spot on, the boy is immence he may not be as good as a host of players but he played brilliant throughout 2005 and he scored over 20 goals from centre midfield give me a midfielder that did that??? that does that?? scholesy hit 20+ in 2003 but he played up front for a while, lampard deserves it and hes a role model i wish we had a great midfielder that not could like scholes but does score 20+ goals a season which is more than rooney!! we would have 2 more prem trophies if we had lampard in the last 2 years and its amazing how far hes come from being a prospect to a world class midfielder, come on boys be fair hes class

Scholes was under-rated more than anybody. He is up there with the likes of Zidane but the fact that he played for Manchester United and kept out of the spotlight off the pitch meant he was never mentioned. For me he is England's greatest ever midfielder, Bar none!

thats quite disrespctful actually saying scholsey is the best ever english midfielder, one of yes and scholesey was is and will always be underated due to his rare stay out of the spotlight attitude scholesey wants to be remebered purely for his football and wants to give united some good memories he is class but to say hes englands best ever midfielder is way off the mark and an exaggeration, charlton robson beckham gasgoine haynes edwards you cannot say that scholes is the best out of that lot hes up there with them yes not the best robson probaly is.

Can someone explain such rated value of fat Franky? Yes, he has a nice shot, as well as being very lucky with it. Seems to know where to be. His passing is fair. His defending is donkey . . . has a crap haircut. Wouldn´t even have the fat bastard in the top five in the Premiership! Whoever said he was the most overrated was spot on.
