Been to Scotland for a week with no internet or English papers. So what has happened? Well I note the Lagos Mafia have got the deal they want and well chuffed about that I am; Dowie's gone to Charlton and half the Championship have gone to Everton but at OT

Ruud seems to be scoring for Holland and there are smoke signals of peace on the horizon but Big Chief Sitting Alex is presumably not happy so when do we get our £10 mill ? (Bet we don't get that much more unless he has a blinder in Germany) Gudj-thingy is mentioned now at Barca so we 're not getting him - probably right as he's not a defensive midfielder anyway . Now the Toytown Cup fills the screens for three weeks and we'll still be guessing who's coming at the end of it.
Well I'm not sure that the Roubles dealer from West London has got any brains but at least what he does, he does quickly and the only decision left over his squad of 95 Internationals for next season is Left Back and my money's on Carlos because he wants the money. Are we going to do anything positive before January? Or just wait and see who's left after Chelski have taken their pick.
I really am tempted to say - "Leave Chelski to it. Don't buy anyone and clear as much of our debt as we can in the next two or three years. Cos' as sure as eggs are bleeding omelettes - Roman will get popped off, imprisoned, or simply bored in the next three years - and if he doesn't, Blatter and his cronies will see him off somehow even as is perfectly clear with Lagos Lad, no-ones brave enough at the moment
