I have an idotic friend who is trying to argue the point that Viera is better than Keane.I proposed Keane's achievements: 481 appearances/51 goals English Premier League: 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003. FA Cup: 1994, 1996, 1999, 2003 Champions League: 1999 Intercontinental Cup: 1999 But still the fool doesn't appreciate Keane's role in these achievements. He asked where are his personal awards and proposed that Viera was in the top 5 of the world player of the year award . Can you guys please help me defend our hero Plz tell me of Keane's greatness.

it just says ".........a career spanning 13 years (1993-2006) Keane lifted 7 Premier League titles, 4 FA Cups, a European Cup and an Intercontinental trophy in his time. As well as numerous Charity Shields and OTHER accolades."
I would like to know about the other.I know he won PFA player of the year and a couple writer's awards. And other specifics??

Its not all about achievements when deicding who is the 'best'. Jonathon Greening has a European cup winners medal! And even worse Phil Reid liverscumbag has FOUR!! But for the record Keane is one of the all time greatest players in world football. The term defensive cantre mid was created by his style of play. Before him centre mid's were centre mid's and were never referred to as attacking or defensive. Now teams don't operate without a defensive cm! Viera was once a very good player, who thought he was big time. A certain Mr Keane to him, put him in his place. He won a world cup and euro champs medal because he was lucky enough to play with another great of the game in Zidane.
