He goes down easily, and theatrically, and he likes a whinge, which refreshingly referees are know starting to clamp down on. Those are some of the things people have been booked for at this World Cup and will be booked for across all leagues next season. I'm not trying to pick on the lad here, but I don't think he's all that and a bag of chips, he frustrates me more than amazes me. He's not on his own with the antics, I'm looking forward to Robben and Reyes to name just two, finally being penalised for foul play. He has improved that part of his game, he doesn't go to grounnd anywhere near the amount that he used to, that's obviously come from being around lads like smith and neville ect. Eye, he frustaights me aswell, but when he gets it right he is something else. I just feel it's too early to be wanting to get rid of him, don't you think? Say we held on to Beckham and we were using Giggs/Park down the left and we brought Ronaldo as a "promising talent" and he was comming on for either winger and running deffenses ragged, we'd all be saying he is going to be something special (a bit like what's happening with Lennon now) but because Ronaldo was brought as a replacement for Becks, he's been chucked in at the deep end, so come on, give him time!

On a good day he can set the premiership alight... on a bad day he pisses me off to the extreme, but i still wouldnt sell him. I'd give him a couple of years to settle down and get fergie to kick the crap out of him everytime he messes around trying to show off and then gives the ball away then dives to try to get it back. He's young he should learn reasonably fast! Like aversion therapy!

Ned,
I work in the same place has another dozen or so United fans, and every one of them would get rid of Ronaldo in an heartbeat, there was talk of Juventus offering 20m for him last season.... that would have been great business for United.
After this World Cup and the obvious clamping down on diving by FIFA, you can expect Ronaldo to see early baths a lot more in the forthcoming season.
If you call talent watching someone do step overs etc all day long, then you should maybe move to Brazil, were every kid with a football does the same thing, tricks dont make a great footballer, I'd sooner have Beckham back in that position and he didn't do half the tricks.
Whatever happened to him off the field last season is non of my concern, do you think my boss gives a shit about anything that happens to me or any of his staff away from work.... I doubt it, but I know he still expects us to do a job when asked too.
I hope he goes on and does become the player that you seem to think he already his, but right now, he's not.
Jesus christ, footballers are people you know?

Plus id like to see you go to a foreign country at 18, play regularly, as a replacement for DAVID BECKHAM and play well, give the lad time, i think your job is a damn site easier than playing week in week out in front of thousands of people and the country ahving you under the microscope.............
