Does anyone believe the conspiracy theory that FIFA have arranged for Italy to win the World Cup to keep Italian football credible after the downfall of their 2 best clubs? Judging by the Semi-Final, not one bit. I had every confidence Italy would win the World Cup, I've been saying so for some time now. Brilliant squad.

well i dont believe the conspiracy theory. italys performances have been good all through, maybe not spectacular but they never realy looked poor.
most of the italian players will probably want to stay in italy, you dont usually see a lot of the top class italians leaving their home country.

I can’t see anyone getting relegated if I’m honest. It will probably all get brushed under the carpet after the World Cup, especially if Italy wins it.

I can see Juve' going at best, i can't see why their board etc. would resign unless they thought there would be serious reprucussions... like relegation.

Three names of interest from those four teams for United should be: Pirlo, Gattuso and Kaka. The others are old, not the position we are looking for or not good enough. Does anyone think Fergie might be waiting for the result to make any moves? I would like to think so but if the punishment is not as bad he has to have other players that he could sign but if they are relegated i expect kaka to go to madrid and gattuso to come to united and maybe and hopefully pirlo tht would be nice but lets wait and see

Camoranesi must be Lippi's 'Fletcher'; nobody knows how he manages to keep getting picked. He's shite.

They’re saying a judgment as early as a day after the World Cup finishes, being today, or a maximum of 15 days.

They are saying it should be made within this week. The sooner the better to be honest so Fergie can show his hand!
