It's just been announced so this isn't 100% accurate yet, sky sports news are reporting IF AC Milan are found guilty, they WILL be relegated to Serie B and be deducted 3 points along with Lazio and Fiorentina.
Juve will be relegated to Serie C, and are the most likely to be found guilty so this is a distinct possibility that a LOT of top class players wioll be available at cut prices.
They will be stripped of ALL titles and out of Europe until next they qualify.

KAKA, GATTUSO, PIRLO, SEEDORF, CAFU, NESTA, GILARDINHO, BUFFON, VIERA, TREZUGET, IMBRAHIMAVIC, COKEHEAD, NEDVED to name a few, DABO has already jumped ship from Lazio to Citeh although thats likened to jumping from half sunken ship to a lifeboat full of holes. Not forgetting to mention Luca Toni from Fiorentina. Furthermore if many of these teams' stars jump ship, it may take them a little longer than expected to get promoted back to Serie A (well, depending on how good their reserves are).
Juve are also looking at being stripped of their last two league titles. If this is the case will they be awarded to Inter who finished behind Juve and AC, or to AC (2nd both times) even though they may be relegated as well?

I've no idea about that.. they must be found guilty before the actions are taken though, but it has been said by the prosecutor if found guilty, down they go.

Three names of interest from those four teams for United should be: Pirlo, Gattuso and Kaka. The others are old, not the position we are looking for or not good enough.
Does anyone think Fergie might be waiting for the result to make any moves?

Serie C for Juve, heh, that would be quite fun, if I remember right, Cannavaro and Del Piero both said no matter what they'll play for Juventus.
If Juve, Lazio, Milan and Fiorentina are relegated, Kaka, Gattuso, Toni should be serious targets.
Maybe Cameronesei, and Zambrotta too.
We should get Filippo Inzaghi too, just because I say so!

Not TONI!..He's the same age as Ruud and Ruud is 100 times better than him. I'd know who I'd rather have.
The only reason I can see Ruud leaving now is if Fergie wants to play a different style, the signing of Toni would not mean bringing a new style to the club.

Most certainly, i know the trial has started and it's gonna take a while although I was made aware that the discision will have to be made b4 the CL qualifiers start Whenever that is? Ask a Scouser he should know then TWAT him on the head and tell him to stop dipping ;D Three names of interest from those four teams for United should be: Pirlo, Gattuso and Kaka. I imagine Luca Toni will probably end up at Real Madrid or something anyways.

Nevermind the players we should nab their coaching staff as well. Capello and Ancellotti could look after the reserves and academy. ;D

Does anyone think Fergie might be waiting for the result to make any moves? I did think this almost a month back when it happend, as if AC are found guilty everyone knows Fergie is a great admirer of Gattuso. Pirlo like you mentioned has had a great few seasons, would be a good signing for the premiership. First on my list would have to be Buffon, he could occupy our goal for the next 10 years.. I get the feeling Kaka would prefere Spain to the premiership for some reason, although Gattuso would probably prefer the premiership ;D

apparantly the decision will be announced by the 20th of july at the latest, i can just imagine all the managers of top european clubs licking thier lips in anticipation cos theres gonna be one hell of a scramble IF these clubs get relegated, a guy on skysports was saying that these are the maximum penalisations for each club but the punishment could be reduced, looks certain juve will be relegated out of serie A though just wonder if they'll have the guts to relegate all 4 clubs

The decision is on 8/9th July. But the clubs will then appeal and the outcome of their appeals will be made on the 20th July.
Therefore, an idea of the outcome will be on 8/9th July and final decision on 20th July.
I hear these are the recommended punishments:
Juventus - Serie C AC - Serie B with a 3 point deduction Lazio & Fiorentina - Serie B with a 15 point deduction

I dont think the AC Milan players will leave. They know that if they stay they can easily get back up, especially the young players, all they will do is miss out on 1 season in Europe. I can see the old players wanting to leave but the younger ones like Kaka, Gattuso, Pirlo, Gilardino.
I agree about Juventus players leaving, although if they do I can see most of them going to Inter. Think about it, with 4 top clubs out of the running, Inter are going to dominate Italian football for years to come, and if these players are already settled in Italy they will be more likely to join Inter.
Does anyone believe the conspiracy theory that FIFA have arranged for Italy to win the World Cup to keep Italian football credible after the downfall of their 2 best clubs?
