Maybe he wanted to end as the coach because its the best way anyone could ever end Plus Italy didnt deserve it and to be honest it wasnt somehting theyre going to repeat so it makes him look better if he leaves after winning the WC than carry on and not do well in euro etc Plus, maybe hes still coming here  and thats why he left |

Quits whilst he's on top, wise. Considering at least one of the top Italian teams will get relegated he knows the standard of players will drop and then what kind of coach would he be remembered as with a crap world cup after winning...
