I'm sure most of you have heard of English 'guitar/synth' band called the EDITORS. Vocalist Tom Smith from Stroud, guitarist Chris Urbanowicz from Nottingham, drummer Ed Lay from Ipswich and bass player Russell Leetch from Solihull. Well as an Irish fan of the band, i went to see them last night in Dublin's Ambassador Theatre with 5 of my mates. They played most of their album 'The Back Room', and all i can say is they were simply brilliant! . They're very much into soaring guitars and outstanding singing from Smith. They played tracks like 'Munich', All Sparks', 'Camera', 'Open your Arms' and 'Bullets' etc with gusto! The gig was only one hour and ten minutes (because they've only one album) but they got an amazing reception. They're currently on their UK/Ireland Tour.

You’re into INDIE ROCK? Cool. These guys were originally called The Pride, right? I’ve heard a few of their songs, but they’ve not been around long, what 2004 they started? They’re not bad and to be compared to the likes of U2 (who I can’t stand) The Smiths and The Chameleons is quite a compliment. A bright future ahead I’d say.
