So, the debate on whether we should have a womens team should be effected by whether the players are hot....... That's just Paul.

Aye, so phenomenal that thats how they justified moving this seasons fa cup final to wembley, after barely filling half of MK Don's 30,500 capacity last season. The attendance this season? 30,710. At Wembley. Massive interest there. You want "phenomenal interest" love? Try 109,318 for a fucking pre-season friendly in the US. You would need the last 7 womens fa cup finals to total that much. Yeah but to be fair, that's double last year's attendance, which would suggest growth. Also, they hold the FA vase at Wembley and that barely gets 10 thousand supporters.

The way I see it, this is going to continue growing and we could / should be a part of it... For me it's another opportunity to stick it to clubs like the rents and the Arse... If we are going to do it then let's do it properly...

Growth maybe, but surely selling out the mk dons stadium first would have been a better justification for moving it? Whats the vase got to do with it? It aint being shoved down peoples throats at every opportunity. Which is funny cos non league clubs tend to be their own entities, rather than needing a big club to pay for everything for them.

Well that was based more on the attendance argument. I don't have any particularly strong views either way to be honest, but I can't fathom the negativity at all. Women compete in other team sports as a separate entity without issue, so why should football be any different?

Just to be contrary I now even more don't want us to start a women's team. DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!! It aint being shoved down peoples throats at every opportunity. Which is funny cos non league clubs tend to be their own entities, rather than needing a big club to pay for everything for them. Women compete in other team sports as a separate entity without issue, so why should football be any different? They aren't separte entities. They're tag alongs to existing football clubs. If it were a group of independent (particularly financially) women's clubs I'd have more truck with it. As it is, the women's game just feels like yet another 'Well men do it, so women have to be allowed to do it too' stick.

I don't get why we're being pressured into forming a women's team from the outside. Unless it's just another media created stick to beat us with.
For a start, where would they play? Would people go and watch them, that are already United fans? Would they be expected to challenge for trophies from the get go? Where would the money come from? If successful, can they become their own sustainable entity?
You need to consider the above, coz there's no fuckin way the Glazer's will fund a women's team if it's not profitable. Regardless of wages/record transfer fees etc.

So the Women's Super League includes Women's versions of already Established clubs but also independent clubs. I'm happy about that. London Bees being one of them. I suggested a London team earlier. If you are the big team from London you surely stand a good chance.

Interesting that Manchester City came midtable in the second division & were promoted to the top division whilst an established team (Doncaster Belles) were dumped to make way for them. Disgraceful.

And that's why women's teams should be completely independent.

Probably gave Doncaster a nice fat sweetener.
