Now I need to ask some questions about the 'Republic Of Mancunia.
Firstly I have heard many talk of this and am confused by just how much you mean and want it to go.
Do you want to be a seperate part of England all together, like the Welsh. Or is it just a part of the football as all of the anti-english that many of you posess.
As a loyal supporter of Manchester I am a loyal supporter of England. And yes it is hard at times when players like carragher are playing, however I deal with it.
So do those of you that are pro republic actually want to be seperate from England or just a seperate like state, whith your own state government. Comments on youtube relating to harsh anti englishness I find distressing, though the ones about Mancunia tearing rome apart is interesting, you see do you see yourself as Mancunian and then english or mancunian, english then british or just mancuni n british.
Please write back with any help at all you can give me.

Well Micky...alot of us here feel that our team and its players face unnecessary criticism at the hands of the British media and English supporters. Everytime England loose and something happens with a United player (Rooney and Beckham being major examples) we bear their rant and unfathomed accusations. I am not British or English, but I started hating the English media and England supporters (non United one though) after the Beckham debacle. Since then I have seen no reason or event that could turn my opinion around. Do I want a separate state? No...Do I want us to be separate from England? No...I want United and its players to not be blamed just because English national team sucks! The team is not comprised of one player...there is no point in blaming only one player (a.k.a Becks/Rooney/Ronnie) when the whole team plays bad, the manager sucks and there is no cohesion between team mates...and the British media/press dont make it any easier. They need a scapegoat, and they have an easy choice...Manchester United. And that's why I am in favor of Republik of Mancunia! before i went to uni, i would love a manc, would be happy enough talkin to a northerner.. but completely disassociated myself from the south.. to a certain extent i still do, lol, but not half as passionately cos now some of my best mates are cockneys. but ive always very strongly linked myself to being mancunian, and this has jus been emphasised as my love for the team has grown as ive got older, whilst seein england rip us apart has increased.
this country hates utd.. the fans, the press, the fa, and therefore i see no reason why we cant hate them back. ive been in the pub in leeds with the lads who i watch the footie with, and we'll chant argentina and sing about ronaldo makin england look shite.. and they'll be some cockney knob like "but youre ENGLISH!" and they dont get it. they feel its totally acceptable to hate us, but when we hate them back, suddenly they get very touchy and offended. the majority of england fans.. and im talkin the hardcore who travel to the back of beyond, are generally londoners.. u know, the chelski, west ham fans, and i cant relate to them at all.
all in all, i dont want manchester to be a separate state, lol, and i dont hate english ppl, cos of course, essentially im english.. but im a manc first, and my priority is defendin and loving all things manchester..
