T&T shock the World as they hold Sweden to a draw.
FULL-TIME: Trinidad & Tobago shocked the footballing world today in Dortmund, as they held Sweden to a nil-nil draw WITH 10-men. The under-dogs of Group B, showed absolute pride in their shirt, grit, determination and the will to succeed in the game and will prove sticky opposition for England next Thursday in Nuremburg. Dwight Yorke put in a captains performance sitting deep and breaking up every attack Sweden played, and setting up T&T's attacks also. Edwards also played excellently in defence and was a rock for the Soca Warriors. For me though Shaka Hislop was my man of the match.
MAN OF THE MATCH: SHAKA HISLOP (T&T) In the warm-up Trinidad & Tobago's number 1, Kelvin Jack was injured and Shaka Hislop was called up. He played out of this world, constantly stopping the Swedes attack, boasting Larsson, Ljungberg and Ibrahimovic, with world class saves that kept the game at 0-0.
MOAN OF THE MATCH: AVERY JOHN'S SECOND YELLOW, although his first yellow card was fully deserved his second was far from it. A late challenge: yes. But reckless?..NO!..
SCORE: Sweden 0-0 Trinidad & Tobago

If England win their next match, which is against T&T, they win the group. And, can then rest players for the Sweden game which will do them the world of good, it will prove difficult to beat these Trinidadians though!

Argentina vs. Ivory Coast - KO 8pm (GMT)
My Prediction: 3-1 to Argentina
Teams:
Argentina
01 R Abbondanzieri
21 N Burdisso 02 R Ayala 06 G Heinze 03 J Sorin
18 R Maxi 08 J Mascherano 05 E Cambiasso 10 J Riquelme
07 J Saviola 09 H Crespo
Ivory Coast
01 J Tizie
21 E Eboue 04 K Toure 12 A Meite 03 A Boka 02 K Akale
05 D Zokora 08 B Kalou 18 A Keita 19 G Toure
11 D Drogba
----------------------------------------------- Live On ITV1 -----------------------------------------------
I'm looking forward to this game especially because of the legendary Gabi Heinzé who is playing for Argentina in the centre of defence in his first competitive game since September 2005. Hopefully, he comes through it fit and healthy whilst giving Drogba a good kicking.
I also look forward to watching Mascherano and Riquelmé's partnership because we have been linked with both players and it seems Fergie will be keeping a close eye on Juan Roman Riquelmé today, and for the rest of the tournament.
I'll also be making a judgement on Didier Zokora of the Ivory Coast as we have been linked with him in the past and I haven't seen him before.

Argentina score. But, linesman and ref disallow.
FLASHPOINT: - 14mins
ROBERTO AYALA rose to head at the Ivory Coast goalkeeper who palmed the ball onto the post and appeared to juggle behind the goal-line. On looking at the replay IT WAS A GOAL.
SCORE: Argentina 0-0 Ivory Coast

Crespo gives Argentina the lead, and this time it counts.
GOAL: CRESPO - 24mins A beautifully flighted inswinging ball from Juan Roman Riquelmé was unsuccesfully cleared by the Ivory Coast defence leaving Crespo to poke the ball in and make it Crespo 1-0 Drogba, in this battle of the Chavski strikers.
SCORE: Argentina 1-0 Ivory Coast

Mascherano: short hair, similar to Riquelmés, playing just behind Riquelmé next to Cambiasso and is average build and NUMBER 8 lol.
I've just noticed United have been linked with all of Argie's central midfield; Cambiasso, Mascherano & Riquelmé.

ITV are doing their preview so I'll do mine LMAO!... ;D The next game I'll be covering will be ANGOLA v. PORTUGAL, where hopefully C.Ronaldo will run riot. I miss the 2 earlier games as I am taking my FA Level 1 Coaching Badge: Final Assesment so won't be at home.

If the Carrick deal falls through I wouldn't mind seeing Mascherano at OT, although we will probably see Chelsea come in for him too, as well as Corinthians being reluctant to sell.

Argentina will prevent Cote-d'Ivoire from playing now close them down and do just enough to win the game,we could learn so much from them..

Keita denied by Abbondanzieri stop
FLASHPOINT: - 35 mins A floated ball over the top of the Argentinian defence left Drogba clear, who unselfishly headed to Keita who was unlucky with his effort which was smothered by the Argie goalkeeper.
SCORE: Argentina 1-0 Ivory Coast

Fergie are you watching? SIGN RIQUELMÉ NOW!
GOAL: SAVIOLA - 38 mins After being fortunate not to concede at the other end, Argentina break and Riquelmé with a delightful through ball split the Ivory Coast defence in half and Saviola was there to poke the ball into the net and send their fans into raptures which includes Diego Maradona.
SCORE: Argentina 2-0 Ivory Coast
