It seems a little late, but you never know with football. And it feels like Argentina have taken their foot off the pedal, in fact since around the 70minute mark which is dangerous against a very energetic side like Ivory Coast.

Argentina edge opening Group of Death game
FULL TIME: The Ivorian side certaintly done Africa proud with this their first ever World performance, and deserved atleast a point from the game, although Argentina had a perfect goal not given when the Ivorian 'keeper juggled the ball over the line only for the linesman not to notice. Argentina were impressive in the first half with Riquelmé controlling the game with two superb assists that decided the game. In the second half though Argentina, dangerously took their foot off the pedal which was dangerous against a very impressive side in Ivory Coast. Argentina have shown they have what it takes to win the tournament, and with Lionel Messi to come back they should make the latter stages. As for Ivory Coast they could cause a few upsets in this group, named the Group of Death. Although it would be hard to look past Argentina and Holland qualifying from Group C.
MAN OF THE MATCH: JUAN ROMAN RIQUELMÉ (ARG) I've said enough about him tonight, Fergie must sign him.
MOAN OF THE MATCH: The goal which never was, denied me a perfect prediction too.
SCORE: Argentina 2-1 Ivory Coast
PREDICTION: (3-1) Right result, wrong scoreline. Although a perfect goal wasn't given.

Sign Riquelme! He was fantastic tonight. I still hate Didier Drogba!

Heinze was pretty impressive especially considering he hasnt played all season. Also Riquelme was unbelievable.
