Watch it, it's shit but good I will look out for that then. Have you seen Charles Bronson in Chato's Land? A good 1972 western directed by Michael Winner. I've not - Westerns are not really my cup of tea

Westerns are great, especially the older ones that were filmed on location (mostly Monument valley ) Nice to watch movies that are not worried about critical acclaim or "twisted" plots, just entertaining.

Finished Land of the Giants - all pretty ridiculous - no wonder they all get captured every episode when the captain wears a bright red uniform and the girls progressed to luminous green and yellow apparel Watched Big Driver this evening - pretty good adaptation of a King short story - the story is pretty brutal and the film lost none of that for a change

Angel and the Badman (got me thinking bout westerns, and that is one of my very favorite ones)
Gail Russel is a FOX \0/ Girl next door with a "come hither" look that would melt steel

Watched all episodes of Fargo, which was just a hoot. Mad murders and surreal plots. A great piece of TV.

Watching an oldie, Toward the Unknown (1956). About the age of supersonic flight. William Holden, Lloyd Nolan and a young James Garner making his first screen debut. It was released in the UK as the Brink of Hell.

Jealousy (1945) - decent early Film Noir with Jane Randolph and John Loder (as David Brent ) Grampy knows I'm not really into westerns but Angel and the Badman is one of the very best

\0/ Gail is hot! (In a girl-next-door kinda way ) Reckon my favorite leading lady for John Wayne has to be Maureen O'Hara. Maureen and the Duke had a Chemistry that was very special The Duke made a whole bunch of great westerns. Made a lot of great flicks period. My favorite John Wayne flick is "The Quiet Man", though truth be told, when TCM runs one of their John Wayne marathons I have never found a reason to change the channel.
